There is no specific resistance value. The overall resistance value should be less then 10 ohms.

@@awaisahmed4322 yes you can. Normally the conductor size is single core flexible 70Sqmm.
At ground floor( from wall to pit) is insulation needed behind GI Strip or can be installed without insulation?
Yes, Utkarsh insulation is needed for safety purposes and identifying down conductors.
