@@jcben yes yes and yes ✨ that’s the park I want to visit the most! I had a Russian friend who worked there for the summer and I still remember seeing her gorgeous photos from there 😍
You know Arizona is a beautiful state for a road trip. You see the Grand Canyon, then the towns of Flagstaff and Sedona, with the tall pine trees, then you go see the painted desert, maybe tour the Navajo Nation, go to old west towns Tombstone and Bisbee, then you can go south through the desert and the cactuses to Tucson and then the Mexico border.
Very nice video, I hope you can stay in the USA and become a citizen; you will enjoy far more freedom here than in Russia 😲 For Yosemite, what I usually do is go the previous day from San Jose (that's where I live, it is on the south shore of the San Francisco Bay, in what is known as "silicon valley") and go to Merced on the train. Then I take YARTS, Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System, into the park, and I stay in a hotel in the park. That gives me all day Saturday at least, and Sunday if I want, to explore the park, then I go back on YARTS and the train. This is a much longer journey than driving; you can drive to Yosemite in two hours from San Jose, and it's about six hours to get there via train and bus....but, if you go in the warmer months, you will have a very hard time trying to find a place to park in a car! I don't have to worry about that when taking the bus and train. 🙂 The train I'm talking about is Amtrak California....staffed by Amtrak, our national public transit train system, and funded locally by the state of California. Although, I prefer to go in spring versus summer (like no later than March), because the mosquitos are so bad at lower elevations! They spawn in Merced River. So, in my opinion, best to go when it is too cold for the mosquitos 🙂
Yosemite is one of my favorite places on Earth. Dari, if you liked Yosemite, visit Yellowstone in Wyoming. In addition to the stunning scenery, it's a great place to see big wildlife!
The US and especially California is so diverse in nature. You got the coast line, Death Valley and Yosemite National Park. By accident I just learned about The Chinese Wall, MT. And just now I learned from my screen saver about 1.000 years old trees in Texas. Looked like a bit wetland to me but hard to say from only one photo. I love to follow your channel. All the best, Dari. All the best

Of course always a little Dari chaos when it got dark but you made it out! Looking forward for the next part.
Hey Dasha, California is really beautiful and expensive. I love it there, but it’s pricey. You can always count on the weather and the beaches, parks, atmosphere, and amusement. I’m glad you loved it there. Thanks for filming.
I love this video Dari. Looks like you had a great time. One word of caution if you go to other places like Yosemite - with big mountains or desert areas: plan hiking routes very carefully. These can be very dangerous places and the weather can change from warm and sunny to icy cold in a hurry. Ask park rangers about trails you want to hike to get expert information. Be safe Dari. Thanks for another great video.
It's good that you knew when to call off a potential long and hazardous expedition. It is good judgment. I called off trying to reach a mountain's summit although it was just half an hour of climbing ahead but dusk was arriving and climbing down was always much more hazardous in the darkness than climbing up in daylight.

Great video. I second everyone else's suggestion to see Yellowstone. You can see so much wildlife, and the hot springs, pools, and geysers are so fascinating.
You eat Cioppino in San Francisco. It’s basically their version of fisherman’s stew with lots of tomatoes. Try to seek out the tiny Swan oyster depot. It’s actually surprisingly good. Just bring cash as they don’t do cards. Please try to find the old site of The Mandarin. That restaurant introduced Chinese cuisine to people for the first time. It was started by Cecilia Chiang the mother of American Chinese food who lived to be 100. That woman has seen it all. You might be familiar with Phillip Chang as he cofounded the PF changs restaurant chain with Peter Fleming. Phillip is the son of Cecilia but he did not inherit the good cooking gene instead he got the ability to become a powerful businessman.

Also another way to get to the park is by YARTS bus. At least until September. And there are shuttles around the valley, and there might still be shuttles to Glacier Point, though it's wise to call ahead and/or check websites to see when they run.
@@DariStep I just looked it up. One-way tickets are available from the valley to Glacier Point June 15-October 15 (not a free shuttle anymore, and not as late as you arrived in the valley). Hi Dari, I am glad you enjoyed visiting California so much, but I must say that the prices there really shocked me, except for the 18 $ for the self driving car. Looking forward to part 2
Good video of California. The Marin Headlands isn’t usually foggy for long. Just bad timing - definitely the best view of Golden Gate Bridge. Fisherman’s Warf is old and touristy. The other side of the Ferry Building and around Chase Center is the newest part of town, and the size of a city itself. Hudson Yards in New York, and Mission Bay in San Francisco are definitely must visit places if you want to see new parts of town. But everyone goes to Times Square and Fisherman’s Warf their first time. Depending on where you are in your life good or bad, there is a place for you in NYC and San Francisco. A place to run to, not to run from - if you’re a free spirit. If you want to see homeless go over to 6th Street. One of my favorite clubs in San Francisco is there. It’s called Monarch. 6th and Mission. I like it because it’s very New York. I think you’d like it. ?? (One if my favorite clubs in NYC is Club Cummings because it reminds me of San Francisco BTW). Anyway, you and your friend can interview the homeless there around 6th and Civic Center. Maybe have a stiff drink at the Rumpus Room-to get the down and out vibe. Unlike the homeless in New York, they’ll probably talk to you on camera.) Anyway, it’s good you’re hitting the touristy places with such a positive attitude and taking the challenges in stride. I wish I had your positive attitude when I was your age. Anxious to see part 2. Cheers
I see you encountered the local Bay Area denizen, Carl the Fog. ☺️ San Francisco is probably my favorite U.S. city. Yosemite was the stomping ground of one of the most famous American photographers, Anselm Adams. He is known for his powerful black and white images of the American West, including Yosemite Valley and Half Dome. Looking forward to your San Diego trip, Dari!
Well, this is my first video on Yosmite Nat. Park. I may never get to see it but I do hope to see the Grand Tetons, I believe in Montana. Haven't been in the San Francisco since 1981 or 1982. ( only about 40 years ago, when the high tech boom was in its infancy, desk top PC's selling for about $12,000 to $15,000 then and many main frame computer existed still. The main frames were as big as a small family home) Naturally, I don't recognize anything in your video. The weather in SF is more to my liking than LA as it is cool, not hot, all year. Hope to see your next Calif. soon. ( like in 2-3 weeks) Glad your hike came out okay. ( no hypotherma, not contact with a bear, and at least getting back to your Air B n B)
You asked which state should I visit next. If I was you I would really visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes I m Michigan and then drive into Traverse City during the first week of July. ( to avoid the high cost lodging that exists in Traverse City) You will need to rent a car and drive. It would not be as an expensive trip as other places. Kentucky has a lot of tourest attractions from state parks, the Mamoth Cave, The Ark, The Natural Stone Arch, The Chimneys, etc. As far as scenery and looking for a nice place to live if you plan on staying in the USA ( if you get married to that young Phillipean man ; my advice is to move to the Phillipeans) then visit Charlotte, NC and the Relieghly Durham Research Triangle in NC. Biltmore Manson is in Ashland, NC and the Great Smokies National Park is in that area. You may as well travel down the Blue Ridge Parkway to get there.
@@DariStep Also I believe the Blue Ridge Parkway ends close to where the Appalachian Parkway starts. The Appalachian Parkway ends near Biltmore Mansion & Ashland, NC which is an art culture type city. I have been to all the places I mentioned in Kentucky but not in North Carolina. My family when I was 8 years old drove the Blue Ridge. Parkway and part of the Appalachian Parkway. I was very scenic.
You will see homeless in Downtown SF for sure. It was bad 30 years ago when I often went there on business. I saw sights in SF that I never saw in Mexico if you want a comparison. Now if you go to LA it is 10 times worse. The rich of Beverley Hills are just blocks away from serious poverty, crime and hopelessness. Having said this there are still many fabulous parts of CA that I would love seeing again. I wish CA the best in solving their problems.
Who doesn't taste wine in California? Devout Muslims! My Mom's admonition to me was: "A casino owner's descendant must never gamble." San Francisco is very nice when viewed from a number of perspectives but it is subject to potential natural catastrophes such as drought, forest fires, and earthquakes (the Big One looms!) New York City has much water from upstate, forest being nonexistent, and yeah, there was the big earthquake in Virginia in 2011 which shook me up (it sounded and felt as if a freight train had just rumbled by a street or two over and the ceiling lighting fixture swayed a bit -- was it due to me being disoriented? I wondered because I was napping when it came by and earthquakes in NYC were extremely rare but freight trains aren't rare at all in the U.S.A.).
Next State to visit COLORADO.... !!!!!!!!! and next country PERU ( Peru won the esteemed distinction of "Best International Destination" at the 2024 National Geographic Traveler Readers' Awards)
Been to Yosemite many times and spent a lot of time hiking the trails. Never saw any bears and never really thought about them. Just dont take any picnic baskets w you : ).
@@jazznik2 I've seen bears in Yosemite. The park service has done a good job of keeping the bears from what Yogi Bear calls "picanic baskets". Bears there use to have a lot more access to human food, which created problems.
San Francisco is where the counterculture movement began. It’s also unfortunately where HIV first started in the states. The city is always known to do its own thing never really conforming to what the culture is. It’s where the Chinese immigrants first landed in America hence the massive Chinese population and its integration into the San Francisco scene. You also see the rainbow flags, that’s because the city actually supports gay rights and always has. Things are talked about openly on the streets because it’s the ability to do so and that leads to actions by the local governments. Go to Haute and Ashbury as that’s the exact place where the 60s counterculture began. Woodstock was the culmination of it. San Francisco is also the birthplace of the Gold Rush as everyone from everywhere had to go to San Francisco to get anything from land deeds to supplies. Gold was actually discovered in sutter’s mill just a bit inland from San Francisco which actually doesn’t exist anymore except the heritage park. It was also the site of the first Japanese envoy mission to the United States, the dignitaries stayed on Mare island which was a place where political figures had homes and a large hotel. San Francisco is very historic for a reason, so many events in such a short amount of time.

Unlike the homeless in New York, they’ll probably talk to you on camera.)
Anyway, it’s good you’re hitting the touristy places with such a positive attitude and taking the challenges in stride. I wish I had your positive attitude when I was your age.
Anxious to see part 2.
Cheers
Thank you for sharing your thoughts 💭💫
I see you encountered the local Bay Area denizen, Carl the Fog. ☺️ San Francisco is probably my favorite U.S. city.
Yosemite was the stomping ground of one of the most famous American photographers, Anselm Adams. He is known for his powerful black and white images of the American West, including Yosemite Valley and Half Dome.
Looking forward to your San Diego trip, Dari!
Thanks for sharing 🤗
No disrespect to Daria and the work she puts into the videos, but I turned it off at the beginning when I saw the pride flags.
Will try to publish the new video in a week :)
The Grand Tetons are in Wyoming.
The Grande Tetons are in North West Wyoming, just south of Yellowstone National Park. That would be a great adventure for Dari!
I totally freebased halfdome one week
Yosemite is beautiful but even you have to admit that it simply doesn’t compare with seeing Justin Timberlake live!😂
Ahhahaha and so close 😱😱😱
I like your Tan
the golden gate bridge looks smaller then I thought
Maybe a bit ahaha
Thanks for your recommendations!
Dari your video great money talk good things work I owe you one
Who doesn't taste wine in California? Devout Muslims!
My Mom's admonition to me was: "A casino owner's descendant must never gamble."
San Francisco is very nice when viewed from a number of perspectives but it is subject to potential natural catastrophes such as drought, forest fires, and earthquakes (the Big One looms!) New York City has much water from upstate, forest being nonexistent, and yeah, there was the big earthquake in Virginia in 2011 which shook me up (it sounded and felt as if a freight train had just rumbled by a street or two over and the ceiling lighting fixture swayed a bit -- was it due to me being disoriented? I wondered because I was napping when it came by and earthquakes in NYC were extremely rare but freight trains aren't rare at all in the U.S.A.).
I enjoyed sf 1st time then after 3rd visit i despised it.
Dari ...is USA more beautiful than Russia??.and have you visited neighbour country Canada?❤❤❤
Both countries are beautiful in their own ways ☺️
Not yet!
Next State to visit COLORADO.... !!!!!!!!! and next country PERU ( Peru won the esteemed distinction of "Best International Destination" at the 2024 National Geographic Traveler Readers' Awards)
Very possible I visit those places soon 🤭
Where are you these days Dari
Back to NYC!
If I went to Yosemite then I would be very worried about the bears. I guess that I would take an anti bear spray with me to protect myself.
Ahahaha I was checking them around lol after sweating so many videos on reels with them
Been to Yosemite many times and spent a lot of time hiking the trails.
