Quebec City; probably the most beautiful downtown in North America; and Halifax; the town of my birth. Let me know if you decide to go to Quebec City, my home town for the last 35 years.
Welcome to Toronto. Thank you for highlighting the architecture. Willowdale cemetery is underrated and has a beautiful pond. Toronto has great hiking trails and food. 🥘 🍂
Dari, so glad to see you up in Canada. I have visited a handful of times and ALWAYS enjoyed the sites and hospitality of our good neighbors to the North. Toronto is a wonderful city, clean, and cosmopolitan with a mid-west charm. I recommend you visit Canada again soon and experience the Francophone marvels of Montreal and Quebec City too. Both cities never disappoint. While I haven’t been to Canada’s West, a major item on my bucket list is to visit Vancouver and take the CN rail to Wistler in the Coast Mountains and then Banff in the Canadian Rockies. I’m always happy to see you on your sojourns and especially thrilled that life is on a significant upswing for you. Best always! 👍
@spacemanspiff3052 The Canadian west is a trip of a lifetime! Definitely put it on your travel list. When in Banff, go to Lake Louise and try to stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. I did a tour of the area but started with a few days in Vancouver and ended with a few days in Calgary.
Good video representing Toronto. Your hosts did a fabulous job showing you all the wonderful spots. Blue Mountain Resort is a great vacation spot year round. Everyone says Niagara Falls is "better" to visit and see in Canada, but that is because you are seeing the water fall in front of you and how large it is. In US, you are seeing it more from a side view. Beautiful place to visit. Happy birthday to KC! He is such a wonderful friend to you inviting u you on his travel adventure opportunities.
I'm taking a break from work as I write these words, but I just had to do so because I remembered your video from Niagara Falls last year. At the time, I was hoping you would get a chance to see the Canadian side at some point and never thought you would be back just a year later! I was so excited for you that I had to stop what I was doing to watch this latest video. It would be great if you could visit the French part of Canada (Quebec) at some point and do a video from there as well. Just a thought... Now back to work 🙂
It's always a good introduction to watch your videos about a location. I want to go to Toronto next year, and plan to visit that 5$ wine tasting place 😍😉 In Korea, Soju is something a person should drink slowly and only a few small cups if it's the first time. It doesn't taste like a Martini, but if someone drinks it by the bottle it will hit that one like drinking a bottle of Martini alone 😛
Very nice video of Toronto, Dasha. I’m glad you got to see the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. I had the same reaction you had: it takes your breath away.
Dari what a great trip! Toronto is beautiful! I enjoyed all of the place's you went to! I would love to tour the castle! Thank you for sharing your trip. I am so glad you all had a good time! Enjoyed watching! Happy Birthday KC! Wishing you many more Healthy and Happy Year's ahead! Dari..awesome video! I will share this.❤❤❤😊
I long ago lost count of how many Americans say they want to ''someday'' go to Canada and often that just means Toronto or Montreal. Then they fail to do it. You only live once and if you have not been to Canada you have failed to live.
I did the same trip 4 years ago but coming from Québec City. I loved it ❤ but I didn't know about the wineries. I must go back! Thank you! And as you say when you wrap it up, there is so much more to tell! Have you been in Chinatown?

You can’t really see all of Ontario in one visit so do come back and don’t forget my home - la belie province, Quebec. Thanks for the video! 😊
Daria you visited a very small % of what canada offers. Canada, the second largest country in World in the northern part of North America that has an endless variety of untouched landscapes making Canada a major tourist attraction. Canada is well known for its glorified mountains and lakes, busy harbors, the extraordinary meals, secluded beaches, maple syrup and the extreme cold winters and summers. The country has some best road trip opportunities in the world. Canada has some of the world's best travel destinations and cities, perhaps it's a place you could call your home one day! It will definitly take you a lifetime to explore! ex; Banff - most photographed place in Canada, Vancouver - most popular destination in Canada, Quebec City - most French town of Canada, Tofino - top beach destination in Canada, Montreal - cultural capital of Canada, Calgary - food capital of Canada, Ottawa - capital city of Canada, Prince Edward Island - top family travel destination in Canada...
Winter is not really as bad as people think if you make a point of living in one of the milder parts of the country. Southwestern BC - Vancouver and Victoria areas - are the mildest and don't even get snow some years. Southern Ontario is usually pretty mild too. We only had to shovel snow a couple of times all last winter and I don't think it went below -10C the entire winter. Of course, that was milder than usual! But I can remember winters where we didn't get our first snow until well into January. In any case, all of Canada is livable as long as you have central heating for inside and warm clothes for outside.
The city I live in…it’s good - busy & noisy, but Dari there are beautiful cities in Canada, but the incredible Parks are what you want to visit if you come back for a vacation!
7:16 When you mentioned how they gave you extra wine, it reminded me of this one time in Canada I went to a department store to buy some cologne and the cashier just randomly gave us a $100 gift card. Canadians really are friendly.🤩 And no, we have not "seen it all before" (atleast not those places) and would have loved to see them in your vlog. Maybe part 2 soon? 😅
Canadian bills are made of a special polymer (plastic); a process created by Australia. It can be washed and dried without any problem. US money is still made of paper and the most counterfeited money in the world.
Loved your Toronto video having visited myself. Stunning tree colours in the graveyard. Great cheesy advert for sims! Niagara Falls is great. I just watched the Marilyn Munro film set there which I recommend to you as you see a lot of the attractions. Cave looked fun but tricky for big people. One. We got fast access to the CN Tower restaurant from the tourist city bus guide, bypassing the queues. It goes round as you eat your meal Excellent pretty video.
I'm so glad you're still around! No surprise movies use Toronto-for-New York, it literally borders New York. Looks like a great trip with good friends and that's always wonderful. (You should see the Falls in winter, when they're FROZEN SOLID, and the place is unexpectedly quiet!)
Ice wine is originally from the Rhine river valley of Germany. It is now difficult to make it in Germany due to global warming; however, Canada is now a major world producer. It is typically paired with deserts.
I’ve been to Toronto a few times (to watch the NY Yankees play the Bluejays) but I had no idea Canada made their own wine! I have to try it next time 🍷.
Casa Loma offers lots to experience. It is amazing when it is decorated for Christmas. There are also events and escape rooms set up in the underground tunnels and rooms.
Thank you very much Dari for this amazing trip to Toronto. Personally I did not believe that this city was so nice. I think that Canada is really a wonderful country and I am happy that you enjoyed this journey. Greetings from Italy and take care 🍀 💕🪻
Cleveland, although without the majesty of Toronto or Chicago, has the same style of architecture common across the United States Canada border. Living in my vehicle for the duration I have, not many places in country I haven’t thoroughly explored.
Salmon and trout breed at the top of the ridge of Blue Mountain. They swim up fast-flowing creeks where the water isn't deep enough to cover their backs. There are a few places where you can stop on the road and watch them. The dam in Thornbury is a popular spot. The salmon try to jump it, and some reach an incredible height before hitting the wall.
If the U.S.A. can come up with a good livelihood proposal for Dasha in a big Columbian city such as New York, she'll probably go with the U.S.A. The densely populated part of Canada isn't far away from the U.S.A. at all. I've worked with cross-border Canadians before, some actually commuting on a weekly schedule to stay living in Canada. Many Columbians in fact live *NORTH* (in latitude) of the core of Canada by the Great Lakes. Many of Hong Kong's people immigrated to live in Vancouver and Toronto due to the British Colonial connection and Canada's being a very accepting immigrant country for the Hong Kongers seeking to escape from the 1997 takeover of Hong Kong. Much flight capital (some, of course, was "dirty money" accumulated during the corrupt British Colonial period) went to Canada.
Never wanted to visit Toronto as there are smaller Upper Midwestern cities that are as clean and open with parks as Toronto. I am still holding out for a trip to Montreal, Quebec City, & the Maritine Provinces. I live in the Upper Midwest and Toronto is a typical Midwestern City baring Chicago, Cleveland, and a few others. I want to see something different on my vacation. I wouldn't mind seeing the castle you went to and Blue Mountain as not much exists here that is like that. I have heard that the food is great in Totonto but it was also good in Milwaukee, WI . ( Omega, Tiffany's [ yes you can have breakfast at Tiffany's as the rock song says], and a few other family owned restraints that I can't remember) Milwaukee did lack the huge variety that Toronto had but it only has 1 million to 1 1/2 million people in the metro area. It is extremely clean , modern with some neighborhoods of well kept older structures, and has a great bus mass transportation system. Other less known Canadian trips are a drive along lake Superior from Superior, WI or Duluth. MN to Thunder Bay, I believe Ontario. I have never taken that trip but have talked to those that have driven it. You could take the Canadian Rockies train out of Vancover to ? Winipeg? Or according to various You Tube creators the Amtrack Zepher is a great way to view the American Rockies within a short time frame. I would skip the Central part of the country and fly into Denver and then take the train to San Francisco. You already drove across I-90 to get to Chicago and that is pretty much the senery clear into Denver baring the progressively dryer climate. Wasn't the scenery from about Sandusky , OH to S Bend, IN exciting, well not really. By the way the have Tony Packos hot dog resteraunt in Toledo, OH too. ( I plan on skipping as its just a hot dog) You could take it back to Denver or just fly home. That is another trip that I would like to do someday.
Grand Duchess Olga and her family lived for many years after about 1948 in Campbellville and Mississauga just west of Toronto. She visited her cousin Queen Elizabeth II on the royal yacht Britannia when she visited Toronto. The Grand Duchess died in Toronto.

( I plan on skipping as its just a hot dog) You could take it back to Denver or just fly home. That is another trip that I would like to do someday.
