Cash is king. Really enjoyed this series . Great to see you two together too x
Loved the series ladies. I always put things in the basket and go back a week later. Never buy the stuff. Just goes to show. You make a good team and it shows you are really good friends. Have a great week (but don't over spend)!!! xx
@@jilliancameron4811 I do this too. ( On clothing hauls, though I've never shopped at Temu or Shein) I go back, after a week, and find that I always reduce the shopping cart, so buy less. And I buy only what I really love, that way. Zara drives me mad, as their Online Site doesn't allow customers to do this. As soon as we close the app. the cart empties. Their loss....I end up not buying from them
Thankyou ladies loved the series you made me think about how i spend money you are 2 lovely ladies and lucky you have each other ❤
A very honest series, well done to you both, it was really eye-opening 👏 😊.
Love seeing Tammy on your vlogs and I deffo think cash in your purse instead of cards makes you think about spending another great experiment xx
I think you have done really well! It’s raised your awareness of your spending habits. I’m doing cash envelopes this month to keep my spending really low
I loved this series with you two.
Very insightful and thought provoking.
I’m going to try it myself to use more cash.
Thank you both for sharing. X
Loved this series. I think you petrol light viewpoint says it all xxx you have prompted me to use cash and certainly is working xxx cheri
Thank you both for doing this very hard but worthwhile experiment and sharing with us. I’m inspired to try harder and watch my spends going forward!! 😊
Good on you ladies and I hope Tammy's tummy settles down soon. Carla, you should quote Caroline's favourite saying which I find myself doing quite a lot "You do you and I'll do me" to anyone who criticises anything you do ☺.
Really great series Carla and Tammy - I consider it a success as it’s made you more mindful of the mindless shopping online. Great idea to add to basket and come back to it later - time to think do I really need that! Well done to you both 👏👏👏
Good job girls! That was a wicked series and well done to you both. I definitely need to do this too. Love to you both.😀
Carla, during your Low-Spend June, I became hyper conscious of what I was spending outside of rent, groceries and utilities. Listening in on your weekly reports with Tammy was very helpful to me. We shall see how well - or not! - I do budgeting for July now. As for menu planning, no thank you. I live alone and enjoy putting something together to eat on the spur of the moment. I buy groceries once a week, so I know what I have in the fridge and on my shelves. Anyway, yes! Thanks for a good month chock full of learning for all of us. Happy July, good lady!
This was a very interesting series and personally made me think a bit more about what I spend on the ‘extras’! Some months I need to spend more with birthdays etc but have definitely thought about my spending more. Xx
Really enjoyed watching this series hope you do it again 🙏🏻well done to both of you 👍🏻
Cash is KING
Great series of ideas ,good chat 😊
Loved loved loved this series.
It's interesting to see what a difference using cash rather than card makes. Really enjoyed watching this.
Good Afternoon cash is the way to go, def, it makes you aware. I have to say I have found from buying fresh veg cleaning it and putting it in freezer bags I save a lot. Fresh fruit is extortionate xxxx Lesley xxx You like what you like.
Found this very interesting and helpful ❤
It’s encouraged me to try something like this thanks girls !
I just love you two, so funny and also relatable. Such good friends too, please do more collaborations x
This was brilliant xx
Great series, found it really interesting. 👍👍
It’s been interesting watching how you have both done .
Well done. You both did well.Although you felt you didn't.You did save on money
This has been very interesting thank you ❤
Hi Carla Love you and Tammy❤
Thank you both l have loved this series .❤️❤️
Really enjoyed this series! It’s helped me think about my budget enormously. What also came across was your wonderful friendship!
This has been a great series. I draw cash out every week and try and make sure to have some left each week. This is then saved for things I want and not necessarily need
Well done ladies I think you have both done fantastic . I’ve learned from this is if you set a weekly spends budget whatever you decide &draw it out in cash for the week . I’m definitely going to have a go for myself . Thanks ladies great series xxx
I think you guys did great. I feel inspired Really enjoyed this series
Cash is king, I’m far more aware of my spending just using cash, it’s all too easy to tap your card and feel no real awareness of the money being spent. Well done ladies.😊😊
Really loved this series ❤ Definitely has made me think about my own spending xxx
Thanks girls, for another fun and interesting video!!!
It's your money, and whoever thinks they can tell u what to do with it, is just nutzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz lol
I love how some people love to try and squirm their way into one's life and tell them what to do, or, try lol
You two are such good friends and it is wonderful to see. I admire you both greatly and think you did a great job this month!
i think it was good,,, yes i do like tammy included sometime,,, but def enjoy you carla
Certainly an eye opener 😮
I’ve really enjoyed this series. £25 per week is a very tight budget and I think you both done well.
It’s deffo made me stop and think when it comes to online spending
Great series it’s been a very interesting experiment. Cash is king.
Interesting little series. The amount of casual spending adds up, I can't even go in the garage to pay for petrol without picking something up! I think I might keep my eye on it a bit more and use the money for something worthwhile.
I think it's been a great series and I'm tempted to saving up £100 and seeing if I could do it .Thank you both.xx.
Really enjoyed this experiment. Nice to hear your ideas and things you have learned.definitely a bit of an eye opener about the use of cards v cash- defo something to consider. Thanks both of you
well done Ladies, I take £250 out of my bank each month as my "spending|" money after all bills are paid. Once it's gone it's gone, if (and that's a big if) there is anything left then I shove it in a tin and save until tin is full before putting it towards a wee treat. My daughter and granddaughter live with us so I don't go shopping with daughter as she always costs me a small fortune 😂😂
Using cash def makes you more aware of what you are spending. More and more I’m back paying with cash where I can
Well done!!! Probably good for a year or so. Life can be hard especially when you need things etc.
😅Hi Ladies ive loved the series . Also well done for completing the challenge as i bet its been hard. Cash all the time for me as using card feels like it doesnt register . Xx
Loved this no slurge June I think you both did well to get as far as you did on a £100for the month well done to you both x
Neither of you should have to defend how much you spend ,each month. You WORK for YOUR money. You can do whatever you want with that money. People should just mind their own business. Ignore them. If they're not happy, let THEM go out and work at 3 jobs ! Great series
You said 'people should mind their own business' however she chooses to put it all on RUclips! Does she expect people not to have an opinion?
Another thing about card and cash, my brother has learning disabilities so he doesn’t understand cash. I do his money but he pays for everything cash. It worries me for him when they rule cash out xx
Well done girls enjoyed watching don't like these bank cards for kids setting them up for a fall because we all just tap and walk
Although you both went over you still did well.
I think you both did very well as I thought the budget you allowed you4selves was quite tight. Well done ladies 🎉👏👏x Rosey
I loved this challenge and I was interested to see how you managed it. It’s certainly made me think
It no one’s business how much you spend and how you spend it that’s for sure x
❤❤❤😊😊
❤❤❤❤
I suspect the dogs will be unlucky because I think the freezer meat will be absolutely fine. If in doubt make it into something with sauce or gravy and no one will complain.
Feel sad for Tammy. She would have only been in £8 deficit if she hadn’t been kind enough to take you for lunch at £21. Well done Tammy Edward Heath xx
According to an interview of five ultra- rich people in America, being “conscious (mindful) of money” is considered a key to success...along with waking up at 5-5:30 a.m. 🥴
Enjoyed the watch … when and where’s ya next hoilday x
Hi ladies, yes agreed ,using cash really makes you think ! Good series thankyou ,take care love Kathy xx
enjoyed watching the challenge, hope you do another challenge. you both down to earth which I like.both take care😊
💜👏👏
I love you guys I'm like you been in skint street I'm now a pensioner my husband is bed bound after a stroke but I'm now better off than I've ever been mostly because I very rarely go out. Friendship is worth it's weight in gold I have very good friends even though I don't get to see them they keep in touch. I love your friendship good friends are the best ❤
Great series ladies well done. Cash is def a great way to save money as it makes you consider every purchase no matter how small !
Well done to you both, been really interesting to watch.... What's the next challenge?
This was an eye-opener. I always use my card for buying stuff and I’m sure I spend more and forget what I’ve bought. Like both of you, I don’t buy anything full price, but even so things do add up. Then again I want to enjoy my life so I’m not going to do without all the pleasures in life.
I think it has been a fabulous learning exercise for both of you. Well done for sticking with it! It seems to have encouraged you both to be aware of where the money goes and what changes are possible and what are priorities for a happy life ❤
Well done both really enjoyed this would love more 👍
Really enjoyed this series, some serious observations made especially how expensive daily life is now. Thanks ladies!
Really enjoyed watching both of you, I think you did really well. You’ve inspired me to be a bit more mindful, I’m going to draw out a certain amount of cash each month for spending money and when it’s gone it’s gone. Wish me luck 😬xx
That was great…food for thought…thankyou.
You’ve both done extremely well 🎉
This has been a great series. I think I'm going to take onboard the idea of spending cash rather than tapping the plastic. It's annoying, though, that the country is moving inexorably towards a cashless society. I've always meal planned the week ahead. It's a boring chore that pays off in time and finances. Have a lovely week. :)
Loved this challenge! Thanks for the updates! X
Great! thank you ladies ❤❤
Love you two and this is a great channel Carla. x
Well done ladies this has been a great little series plz do another one just before Christmas. You two are a great double act . Xx
Really enjoyed your vlogs on this challenge. You both did win really as you didn't spend as much as you would have done. It's made you think a bit more before spending unnecessarily on things you don't really need. Win, win❤xx
Looking great ladies
X
Great video ladies❤
❤❤
Well done you two 😊
Love two. ❤
Petrol is an essential spend
You don't have to explain having spare money, that's the way of the world. Well done, very eye opening.
It's your hard earned money to spend on what you like x
Well done to you both glad it made a difference to you both and your bank balance 😂your money you earn it you spend it 😂😂xxx
Since paying by card I think everyone has spent more money! X
♥️🌸🫶🏻👭💷💕👍🏻
You have wayyyy more than 3 months to eat meat in the freezer. I even asked the butcher once, and he said as long as it's frozen, it's safe. It just may lose nutritional value. Obviously, like you said, it may affect flavour. I had 2 or 3 yr old salmon that tasted lovely. 1 yr old turkey tastes fine. Honest, if you read google, most have figured out you can go way past expiry dates.
I live 10 minutes from the US, and I totally spend far more freely there. With exchange though, I need to be more careful.
Did you save your down-payment for the next cruise?
Hi Carla I have been on skint street before I know what it is like to have no spare money you have both done well this month in June pat your self on the shoulder ❤❤❤❤
Interesting "experiment". Tammy is a good foil for you too, Carla.
