- Crusader Kings 3 returns to the channel (hurrah!) as we jump right in to the fancy new Roads to Power DLC, which adds all sorts of new bits and bobs into the game, like a new Empire Government type, family estates, new hats (yay) and, very excitingly, landless adventurers!
And so begins our newest CK3 journey, taking on the role of an adventurer right down in the far South East of the map in what is modern day Sri Lanka! A whole new part of the world that we've never really explored in Crusader Kings 3, so now seems like a good time to visit!
We're landless so we don't have any courtiers or anything like that, but we do have a couple of people who are part of our little entourage, and together we go around handling contracts for people. Unfortunately the contracts near our starting location are not really our style so we have to look further afield, which leads us on to an exciting journey.
There are accidents and treasure and social faux-pas and a very long con to get some money from a man! Crusader Kings 3 is back, huzzah!

A tabard was originally a humble outer garment of tunic form, generally without sleeves, worn by peasants, monks and foot-soldiers
Nowadays a tabard is the item of clothing that someone in a shop or a cleaner might wear over their clothes whilst working.
Someone else that might wear a tabard is the person in the office who used to be called the tea lady. So a very appropriate item of clothing for the Geek Dynasty
