Penge, on the Travel menu (the place where you choose where you want to go and the different travel options to make your trip better) there will be symbols above specific holdings. They are Points of Interest. Different symbols give you different experiences. If you want to visit them, you can either manually travel to them or if you move your camp, you can customize your route on the travel menu below the travel options and add different points of interest. Just wanted to let you know. Also wanted to say that I am very excited for this series and the videos to come! Love to your channel!!
I love going on a Pilgrimage as an excuse to visit all of the capitals and points of interest along the way. XD Customizing travel routes is surprisingly satisfying.
The adventure continues! You can see Points of Interest on the map when you are deciding where to travel, either when moving camp or traveling to a new contract location. Points of Interests are both places with special buildings and capitals of decent sized realms. You can also see all special building places with the Economy Map mode, found bottom right. Also, that Confidence Trickster contract at the end does have a Diplomacy icon and the text said it was for entertaining a ruler. So it's not a stabby Intrigue thing at all, but perhaps rather putting on a play about someone a bit stabby..?
Hey Penge! Enjoying the series, keep it up! I want to give you a couple of advices so far: - You really should appoint a second, it only costs 30 prestige to change, but it gives you a ton of stats(you have someone with good aptitude already), and it is always same number across all stats(so a good aptitude person will give you 3 in all stats!) - As Geethan is gay and is not a ruler that NEEDS heirs, he can adopt anyone as a successor to the camp. You can do this by selecting any person in camp and right clicking on them to Appoint as Succesor. This way Geethan can pursue people he really wants to pursue.
Hello! Glad to hear you're enjoying our latest round of CK3 shenanigans. I'm away for the weekend so I've already recorded part 3 and you'll be glad to know that we do appoint a Second! A surprisingly good one... As for Geethan's heirs, if we want the Geek dynasty to continue and therefore eventually turn into The Geek Empire, he's going to need some kids! The Geek Dynasty must survive!
@@TheGeekCupboard I think the person you choose to be a successor adopts your dynasty. But I get what you are saying, I guess Geethan as an ambitious poet does dream of his descendants one day ruling a kingdom… Hope you have a great weekend!
Good choice not to go for the coronet (yes, with the T), which is, fun fact, a crown without the top. Final choice is awesome! We shall now call him Geethan the Well-Hatted.
Love that hat.... it is so tall and stately even if it doesn't have pointy bits on it. Those will come later, I'm sure. ♥ Geethan, the Well-Hatted (yes, I did see Geetha's new title in a comment (@Bethgael) and thought it was very good.) is doing a decent job of leading his little group of people around, stopping here and there to either discover things or to do a bit of work. Having a couple of bodyguards and giving others "titles" should make them happy... at least for a little while.
This is very interesting run. Different from the normal game. I think when you select a route to go and do a contract you can edit the path so if you see a point of interest or another contract near your target then maybe you can do that before heading back to camp.
@@TheGeekCupboard Or perhaps that siren was so alluring that even Geethan himself forgot who he was for a moment... Btw, don't know if you heard it already, but you can visit points of interest when travelling. When you click to travel somewhere, you have the option to customise route, which will allow you to visit lots of different places. With the travelling window open, you can see a bunch of symbols strewn about the map. Visit those for various bonuses.

Loved the hat. Keep going please. This videos are the best part of my work day 😂
Oh, I'm so happy that you uploaded the next part already. I thought I had to wait a week, thank you!

We need to get Paradox to make "the Well-Hatted" an official title!
@@TheDavidN Yes!
I am all for the title of "the Well-Hatted"!
The conqueror decision goal is whichever land you reside in when you take the decision. You can change the goal by moving to literally any land.
Looking forward to next episode
Is it prudent to stop the caravan master from being able to fight? Long life to the Geek Tabard dynasty. Peace all

It would seem, your game is using the X-Com dice: Anyting bellow 95% chance of success has a 80% chance of failing.
I don't think k the begging for charity is a bad one. I liken it more to a school fundraiser.
I think you forgot that Geethan is gay. A bit overly flirty with the ladies there. 😛
I won't lie, I did entirely forget! Maybe he was just doing it to impress them.

The best way to the Traveler trait is to do an activity that is decently far away.

For the historical record, might I remind people the homosexual should not try seducing women if male? Carry on....
