@@99bimmer Honestly, I could really only see the first album being a slight turn off for most newer potential fans... simply based off the "tone" of the album (I love it, I've been a fan since I heard "Bored" sometime after the "Roots Bloody Roots" by Sepultura (he wore a Deftones t-shirt in the video and I was curious so I went to Record Runner and bought the only album they had released so far). Yes, they've evolved, but they've always been fucking good and unique, just each album is like... becoming MORE Deftones (if that's even possible, because nobody is even remotely close to even being close to Deftones in sound and songwriting).
A lot of times these type of vids grab me for a minute or so and then I get bored. This one made the hair on my arms stand up all the way through. Effin brilliant!! Keep up the creativity!
honestly so cool this, I like how this rendition kinda brings home the darker themes of the song and the underlying turmoil of the lyrics, whereas the original was like an ironically "happy" tune. Kinda gives the origianl a lot more depth as this version and the original are thematicaly two sides of the same coin, if you get me! loving your covers, particularly your deftones ones!
