You are so welcome! I’m sure you’ll get the hang of this method! It’s an easier introduction to quilting than the traditional method. Great for small projects! Thanks, as always, for watching! 🙋♀️☺️
Haha..😂😂 Your bangles are SO amazing, I can’t stop thinking about the ones from today! You have such a way to put colours and textures together, just beautiful! Just beware - quilt as you go may turn into another obsession! I feel I should apologise in advance.. 🤭🤣 Have fun!! 🙋♀️❤️
Your patience always fills me with awe!! ❤️❤️❤️ And your signature wonky style screams creativity, freedom and happiness to me- I love it!! We were saying about having an extra 10 hours in the day..?! 😂🤔. 🙋♀️❤️🧵🪡❤️
Thanks for the simple instructions. I've always shyed away from patchwork, but start with a square, RS together, and go around edges looks doable. Do you tuck edges over too, looks like you've zigzag stitched over raw edges. I love patchwork.
I’m sure you’ll be surprised how easy this method is. It’s very forgiving as anything goes! Straight or wonky, it doesn’t matter and won’t look like ‘mistakes’. Artistic license 👍😉 Re your question- the outer edges are raw, which makes it an easy and quick project. For the first round of zigzag stitches I increased the stitch width to 5 (I think) and went over the edges to catch any fraying. I then did another round with a slightly less wide & long stitch, again over the edges. And, finally, I added a third round for decorative purposes with the narrowest and shortest stitch just a smidgeon away from the edge. This is just to fill in any gaps and make the zig zag stitching pop even more. If you don’t want it as visible you can use a matching thread rather than a contrasting one. I hope that helps! Have fun and good luck! 🍀😍
I like QAYG. Lovely notebook!
Thank you - I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🙏🙋♀️
Thank you for sharing your process...I think I can manage it, although I am not a quilter!
