Oh, Mira these fabrics are soooo pretty ❣️ 😍 Your instructions and attention to detail is so clear and precise! I’m looking forward to seeing the finished quilt. Hope you’re having a wonderful day! 😊🙋🏼♀️🩷
Yes, they are absolutely beautiful, aren’t they!💕 They certainly are a pleasure to quilt with and I can’t wait to see it all come together either! Just another 50 odd blocks to go lol.. I’ll be doing another video on the process of constructing the rag quilt once the blocks are done. I hope you’re having a wonderful day, too! Hopefully it’ll involve a little creating at some stage.. 😍🪡🧵🙋♀️
That's wonderful - so glad to hear you found this helpful! I hope you'll give this a try, it really is a very rewarding way to sew and the creative possibilities are endless... Have fun & thanks so much for watching! 🙋♀️☺️
Ich danke dir 😍😍 - bin fleissig an den weiteren 50 Blöcken am Nähen und kann es kaum erwarten sie alle zusammen zu setzten. Dann wird das Quilt zum Leben erweckt.. ☺️
As always, your work is exquisite! My poor machine doesn’t do any fancy stitching, so I would do the buttonhole stitch by hand, however, I do love the effect of machine stitching ❤️🤎💙🧡💚💜🩷🤍💛🩵
Oh you are wonderful, always so kind and encouraging ❤️❤️❤️, thank you!🙏 I meant to say when you previously commented about your machine and said your thread tangles or breaks.. this often happens when the needle is too old and no longer sharp. I would start a new needle for every quilt or for smaller projects I would swap to a new one after two or three makes. The needles I replace are still good for paper sewing for a while. The other reason you might have thread issues is if the needle is too small or too large for the fabric you’re sewing on. If it’s light or medium cotton/ linen, a size 75 or 80 works well for me. Maybe these tips might help - it’s awful when there’s problems with the machine as it takes all the fun out of it.. Good luck 🤞 🥰🪡🧵😍❤️❤️
@@bluebellhillcrafts Thank you, Mira, truly, but my machine is the one with problems. You see, I bought one two years ago and it started breaking the thread, tangling and not being able to sew with a zigzag stitch. I took it to the store and they told me it couldn’t be repaired. As I was very surprised and furious, they ended up giving me a new one (after many months of waiting). This new machine has exactly the same problems and it also breaks needles all the time. I never stitched paper or leather (which I used to do with my previous machines) and I am going to take it to the store. I’m so disappointed, because although I love to hand stitch, I have always used my machine often, and now I can’t do that. Anyway, I thank you so much for your tips 🙏🏻💙💙💙
Oh that sounds absolutely terrible! I’m really sorry it’s been so much trouble for you! How frustrating!!! I can only hope they will sort it out for you in the end 🤞.. I don‘t suppose you could switch to a different brand..? It sounds like it‘s a more general issue rather than a single faulty machine 😖 Good luck ❤️❤️❤️
Most of them were sent to me by FreeSpirit Fabrics as part of their influencer tour 2024 (I've got a 'Short' about this on my RUclips channel). I also happened to have some of the patterns in different colour ways already in my stash and they were obviously perfect for being added in. Here's a link to a video on FreeSpirit Fabrics' RUclips channel where one of the designers who brought out this William Morris collection ('Emery Walker') talks about the inspirations behind each of the patterns in the collection. It's really fascinating and gives an interesting context when she talks about the friendship between William Morris and Emery Walker. It's worth a watch. ruclips.net/video/bTHDArnpnio/видео.htmlfeature=shared
I like how you did this and I'm looking forward to see you finish it. Very pretty.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments! I can’t wait to see the finished quilt, too! 😊
Just another 50 or so blocks to go lol..

@@bluebellhillcrafts Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
Did you get these fabrics in a bundle or put them together yourself they are so pretty. Could you explain a bit more about the fabrics please 🙏🏼

Oh please do a collection kit especially to make this type quilt with them 🤣they are beautiful and it’s an interesting watch Thankyou.
I don't actually sell fabric, I'm so sorry! I wish I did.. 😍
@@bluebellhillcrafts so do I 🤣they are a beautiful selection….. maybe something for you to look into 😜
If only I had the space to store a few dozen bolts of fabric.. I‘d open a fabric section on the website in a flash lol! A girl can dream.. ☺️😄
