      Thank you for this basics of doubles defence video. I'm sure these tips alone will improve my doubles defense drastically. How do we handle smashes directed at the body rather than at a specific part of the court?

      Thanks for inviting, guys! Super love your channel, btw. Oh, gosh, so many things to dig into, really, but perhaps something on how to move the opponents (out of position) through varied lifting to the sides? I hope my question makes sense😘😘

    My coach once said "If you don't approach defending a smash with a mindset of trying to counter it, you have already lost the point"

    • @BadmintonInsight
      @BadmintonInsight  3 года назад +12

      We would definitely disagree with this! For example if your opponents are good in the flat game and you try and counter you may be in more trouble! This is especially hard if they are in a good position in attack. If you lift again then you might be able to counter on the shot after that when you are in a better position!

So it's harder to learn to play correctly. However, watching your content (videos) I end up raising many doubts. Really good work, congratulations! Just one question, as an amateur player I would like to buy a racket but I really don't know what to choose, there are many options and for different prices, I totally don't know if playing with a 70 euro racket is the same, for example if it were a 150 euro racket... Do you have a video on this topic?
