Honestly I think ot is very likely that if it *is* the typhon it will be a science carrier because it feels like cryptic has decided that flight deck cruisers or dreadnought carriers are not a thing 25th century starfleet should have.
Well there's the thing about the Typhon right there. She could be any of the three really. Remember she has larger meddays and sensor sweets, she can act as a forward base and she has Fortress Mode which closes her up and allows her to soak up abuse/damage. It could go any direction but Flight Deck would be nice, just comes down to which direction they take her but being Sci wouldn't be all that bad, the hanger consoles would stack nicely that way.
If they add the Typhon they should make it with 3 hangar bays and add a third bay to every full carrier while they are at it. I know there were tons of suggestions to fix carrier gameplay but why not keep it thematic and just stack more hangars? Dreadnoughts and Strike Wings have one hangar, Flight Deck have two, so give Full carriers three. That would also allow for a lot more variety in the type of craft you bring (dps/debuff/support depending on the team you play with).
I'm gonna guess that the Premonition is gonna be reskinnable with Sovereign parts if only because it's so close to the Sovereign to begin with. Sort of like a Sovereign-X. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Achilles has a similar relationship with the Avenger/Inquiry
We still haven't done the demon hunter event yet...but ui shows both demon hunter event and klingon events coming soon....we've skipped ahead to the phoenix token event 1st 😂
i was kinda hoping for a different consel, the bouncing torpedo from the akira class in armarda 2. also the typhon looks like it should be in battle star galactica, but hay it will still be fun to see what people do with it.
Whos to say these bundles dont start happening every year? a bundle a year with old trek game ships id be down for (along with other bundles and releases ofc) but having one of the bundles a year containing retro trek ships would be amazing

I'd be surprised if the Premonition is kitbash-able with the Sovereign. While they're similar in size, their respective shapes are different enough that I don't think Premonition's parts would work with the Sovereign set.

I haven't played the Armada 2 campaign for a long time and unfortunately I can't get it to work in the current Windows version, even in compatibility mode, but one ship in the story seemed to be the USS Incursion I think it was in the last story mission of the Borg together with the Federation against species 8472 and the UI is similar to the one from the first teaser

The wingmen mechanic. Yeah, I've said for a while now that I really want to see that used on more than just Jem'Hadar Vanguard ships because, in my opinion, it's the most fun ship mechanic in the game.
an outstanding video as always. I also was a big fan of the premonition. This could be a cool bundle, and I hope they learned their lesson from the anniversary bundle last year, but I am remaining cautious. Cryptic is really good releasing an incredible fan favorite ship and absolutely butchering the seating/console/trait/etc. Heres hoping though!
The Anniversary bundle is a very different thing. The whole deal with that was the bundle exclusive ship, the Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer, which was a shit choice for the bundle. Not really going to be a problem because this isn't an Anniversary bundle, there won't be a lockbox ship in it. Last year's Starfleet Flashback bundle included the TNG phaser pistols as ground weapons, and the year before, the Federation Responder bundle included has Mirror Universe skins for the bundle's ships as the exclusive. So, like I said in the video, no way of knowing what this bundle's exclusive will be, but it's very like to be something in those lines, probably some skins, or some ground weapons, but likely not a lockbox ship.
Oof, I'd honestly forgotten Dominion Wars was a thing. Never played it, but I think that was the one where you could import your ships from Starship Creator II into it? A cool gimmick, but a buggy one, if I remember right. Shame about the Incursion, but it did show up in Armada II and I think Starfleet Command III, so maybe there's still a chance? I know, I'm pulling at straws, but it's a cool ship and I want that holocloak tech, dangit.

If there were more non-Fed ships I would by them. I only tend to buy Fed ships b/c the choices are greater for the Feds. I've basically bought all of the Romulan ships that interested me, and I'm nearly finished buying the KDF ships that interest me. What's left? Lots of Fed ships. So the stats will show I'm buying lots of Fed ships, but the reality is I would rather buy more non-Fed ships. The choices are just not there.
I'm with ya there, if there were more non-Fed ships being released, I'm sure I'd buy them. Hell, technically I did, the only one of the Dyson ships I bought was the Romulan one. But, unfortunately, they've said their analytic show that the Fed ships don't sell as well as the non-Fed ones. Even my own video analytics back that up, there was way less interest in my top 11 non-fed cstore ships video than the other top 10 videos I did this year.

The Typhon was and remains ass-ugly. I have no idea how they managed to design fighters that fit in well with Star Trek, but then also designed a carrier that looks like Generic Box Space Ship. It looks like a TNG kitbash ship they make out of random model parts.
Console players are still waiting for the Demon Slayer event, which they skipped and went right to Delete Alt Control. I'm starting to worry that they actually forgot this time 😂
The schedule just got a little weird for console because of the Summer event. The seasonal events that happen at the same time on all three platforms tend to throw a bit of a wrench in the console event schedule. But don't worry, it'll come.

How you feel about the Typhon is how I feel about every other Fed ship. I loath the garbage saucer and nacelle pizza cutter aesthetic. There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about that unbalanced mess of a design language and Typhon is a breath of fresh air.

The Typhon is like the Star Trek equivalent of a Battlestar to me. That said, I'll be devastated if they make it a science carrier.

The Incursion showed up in the final mission of Armada II. The Incursion herself was not in SFC3, however the Incusion Holocloak technology was.
