So we've got some insights into what the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could look like and let me tell you, it's a major shift from what we've seen in recent years! Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra in January. Наука
I think the square design looks more representative , I don’t understand at all who buys large smartphones and then complains that they are not convenient to use with one hand 1:22
people who complain either don't really know how to hold the phone or they have small hands, i have the S22 ultra and i never had any issues with the corners.
@@sarandip ++
As mobile gamer, playing game with square design is really uncomfortable... it's hurt my palms 😅
Haha really I can easily use my s23ultra in one hand
I'll tell youbwho does that. A bunch of cry babies!
Samsung needs to do a survey and maybe listen for once to what we really want
I think that's why we may be getting this change probably complaints on the s24ultra current build. I personally love it specifically my s23ultra cuz I also still prefer the curved display. But it seems that they've started listening to the wrong people
They did, that's why they're getting rid of the shitty sharp corners that most people hate
@@ChrisJohannsen actually the differenze between the two is pretty big, 72% likes the boxy design, ans the other 28% the round corners
Another Note wit SD Card slot updated cameras n S Pen along wit updated software. Don't care for Ai either.
first of all we dont need curved display anymore it was just a pain nothing else flat is better
People are never content. When the design is boxy the phone is uncomfortable. When the design is rounded they say the phone isn't looking professional. When the display is curved it's inconvenient. When it's flat too common. Whatever. Really I'm tired of hearing complaints all the time no matter what Samsung does.
no curved display is pain no matter what you say i just wanted samsung to get rid of curved display and yes i am happy with my s24 ultra display being flat
@darkvader125 the thing is not everybody loves a flat display
@@falcon2898 The point is you can't please everybody. Others want a slimmer phone others a bigger battery
@@falcon2898 i am saying that man you have option go for it but in flagship there is always anxiety i wouldnt mind curved screen phone when it comes other two phone which does not have spen let alone in a flagship phone curved screen become nightmare for the flagship there is always anxiety and cost of repair is also there which is hefty compared to the flat screen as one one my friend who works in samsung always said that when comes to curved screen phone it is nightmare and market like india is not suitable for curved screen says that person who works in samsung as the repair guide
he always said to me infact on the time i also went for the service center where he was working said that you have commited the mistake to take a curved screen phone back than i argued a lot but now i relased that was my mistake to take i am happy that i got wronged about the curved screen phone its not to say that i am against curved screen phone but we also need to see the market here in India every 3 people drops their phone that is why people have trouble finding the screen protector and 90% of people use screen protector and cases and curved screen only creates the problem rather than solving the problem
just for the looks curved is great which no doubt i agree with all people who defend curved screen but that does not means that curved screen phone does not bring challenges for it
@@falcon2898 and yes i use s9 once a upon a time i liked that phone but i dint liked that fact that it was curved
Salt, I am team boxable however those people that complain about boxy design they can just get a phone case and fix the problem
Exactly! And I don't get how the S24 Ultra is digging into the hands like Ice Universe mentioned. How is he holding the phone, lol?
No i tried a good spigen case but it still sucks.
@@TechTalkTVeven though you dont understand it its still true. I always feel better when i put the phone out of my hands. I glad sent it back now that im hearing this news.
@@serrael-182good or bad case.. choose the case corners little curved so it'll fix the problem
No case fixes it
The S24 Ultra has the best design ever, why change it? The only bad thing about it is that I don't own one😂
Don't worry as it is an experimental device with ai. First of it's kind. Next models will be much more powerful
They are so far up Apple's ass it's not funny. They always put out videos making fun of Apple but deep down they're in love with Apple
I've always been a huge fan of Samsung's boxy design-it sets their phones apart from the competition; it's unique. In my opinion, the sleek, premium feel of the Note 10 Plus was unmatched, and I held onto it until it didn't work properly anymore. If my Note 10 Plus hadn't broken, it would still be my go-to phone today. :))
Typing this on my Note10+! Yeah the design flows like a well rounded pebble, it's super nice. Though the battery has slowly gone to shit and the performance isn't on par with the best anymore, so I'm considering upgrading to the S25U when that comes out
yeah same with my s24 ultra though se if want design phone whatever and however you like it as long and screen is flat i will never complain about but once you get curved screen i am doomed to find and good screen protector and cases
Still rocking my note 10+
Exactly! Samsung needs to be Samsung. Quit copying Apple. Ehem... buds 3...hello!
@@joemammatube companies copy each other these days and no one is complaining about it only few are doing it and that few are us and company does not listen to us they listen to fan boys
Dear Samsung please bring back DJ KOH
Why? what was so great about him?
@@asianstud7 Samsung was in it's Peak when DJ KOH was the CEO
@@rahulvenkata2020 but didnt the note 7 explosions happen while DJ Koh was CEO also? LOL.
It was a supply chain issue 😂@@asianstud7
It was a fluke. Besides they were innovative in his era@@asianstud7
I love the boxy design. You fix any uncomfortable situation with a case. Anyway, it is what it is. We will see.
Square Ultra looks Classy & Professional - Definitely prefer the flat screen vs curve
Agree. The flat looks more premium than the curved screen.
And 8 years ago ppl sed opposite... I mean wtf, make up your mind ppl.
I stick to what i like 4ever. Dont change.
I preffer round curved
I am a Samsung user and fan, and I only own a Samsung. I hope that Samsung makes the design of its S25 Ultra phone similar to the design of the S21 Ultra. It would be welcomed.
I profoundly dislike rounded corners, I have a S24Ultra and have no issue using it for long period of time, playing game or texting. Must be the way I hold it because I do have small hands
Exactly. It is only dumb people who shows problems using it with their hands. Pathethic.
Just put the S25 ultra cameras in a S25+ body, and I'll be happy.
No, i prefer the boxy shape for watching content. I don't want curves to cut off the corners
I prefer the boxy look but the rounded corners are more comfortable to hold
My S24 Ultra is going good and I use case so it doesn't hurt my palm but if without case then yes it will cause issues to your palm. Upgrading to s25 ultra will be a stupid idea for me so I am keeping S24 ultra for atleast 5yrs although it supports 7yrs of software and security update which is a massive timeframe for a phone to hold it's capability of performing well. S24 ultra rocks❤. Nice video Sal! Keep us updated!❤🎉
Personally I love the square design.... It's unique.... One look and you know it's an ultra..... I don't get why they are changing something that works perfectly fine???.... The idiot on the picture holding the phone must have mistakenly mistook the phone for a hand grip or something, otherwise why would anyone even squeeze/hold a phone that hard... Makes no sense. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I love the curve on my s23 ultra!
Me too. Not too curved and not too flat.
how about keep the same thickness and increase battery and heat dissipation ?
Or put a Qi 2 Magsafe.
what is unnecessary trend of making things slimmer, when it doesn't make much difference and is practically useless, as the cameras still protrude out.
edit: or fking put a LiDAR sensor instead of unnecessarily making stuff thin and potentially weak as well.
um Lidar yes even i wanted it
I agree with you on everything but slim is better. If it doesn't effect in any way.
I am using s24 Ultra, and I love the design❤️❤️
The boxy design makes the Note/S Ultra series unique from rest of the smartphones out there.
This only gives me another reason to keep my S23U for even longer
Fr
Amen to that
As an S23U owner, I also skipped the S24U. I was looking forward to the S25U, but now I'm unsure what to do. I don't like rounded corners that cut off content from the screen. I've always preferred sharp corners, and my hands are just fine. 👿
@aexetan2769 I'm exactly the same. I didn't see a need to upgrade to the s24U and with all the screen issues that were being reported I was waiting for the s25U, but Samsung is making some weird changes and they don't sit well with me.
S21 ultra is the best design
Thanks for the info sal have a good weekend
Thanks, you too!
I much prefer the square look, the s24 ultra is a beaut!! Why would they mess with it?? I definitely won't buy it. Time to start thinking about which brand to move to next
I'm concerned about the bezels now, so is the bezel going to be bigger or will the OLED screen be round?
Strictly speaking, content isn't being cut off with a square design, but since the aspect ratio isn't 16:9 to fill the screen, it means crop is inevitable regardless. Basically, it makes no difference.
FINALLY we're moving on......didn't we all go boxy because of the Note fans. The S21 Ultra was a real stunner but not good enough for those guys. If I remember correctly before the Note 7 went BOOM it had the most gorgeous design BUT wait we have an Unpacked soon and I wanna look at that watch and buds that do not look like tampons (honestly I can't unsee that lol)
2:23 Finally. Another important upgrade. Slim means less bulky, and putting case would aslo be less bulky. But definitely it's not that significant. Hope it's reduced more.
I mean, you could make it somewhere between boxy and rounded, where it still retains the boxy design but has a but of a slight curve off around the four sharp edges that it's a little compassionate to the hands. Easy fix.
Team 📦 all day every day
I'd rather get the S24 Ultra over the S25 Ultra if that is the case. But we'll have to see what will happen next year.
Glad the S24U comes with 7 years of updates!
Yes rounder edges is awesome totally agreed, samsung should just shape their phone like apple roundness
I do experience aches and pains at the palm after prolonged use from the sharp boxy edge but I still prefer it over rounded edge.
team boxy. just get a case, i love the squared screen and agree that holding it without a case is a bad idea but i think its worth the screen shape
Never thought I'd say this...but Team Box! 🤣 Those phones look exponentially classier.
Hope it's closer to the look of the s21 ultra
Instead, Samsung really should focus on how to make their phone faster, especially while taking high-resolution pictures.
I do love the look of my note 20 ultra but idk what to say about the s25, I do love the buds 3 design tho
I dont understand why the people who want the rounded corners dont just go buy an s24 plus... we have three perfectly good designs... plus i think that the boxy design makes so much sense with the s pen...
Screen size, cameras, s-pen.
I got mini heart attack, I thought they will remove S-pen too.
I think the ultras boxy design is respectable. I use my S24 ultra case less and one handed all the time. And the corners are not sharp at all there somewhat round if you get me. Now if you grip the phone a whole lot you will see results like 1:22. But there's ppl who don't think right about which device to buy and them start complaining, that's why you should take time to think about the device you want to buy.
Rounded design is a welcome change for me ❤
And if Samsung wants to use MediaTek dimensity/exynos they should give it globally for everyone in s25 & s25+ to maintain equality not giving Exynos/MediaTek dimensity for some region and Qualcomm Snapdragon for other region 😤
I switched to the s24 ultra cuz of the box design and flat screen. I don't like how rounded corner phones look personally and the ultra line up really sets itself apart.
I love the ultra in 2024. And what will the plus look like?
Get a ffing cover I like the edges
Nice video 😂🎉, I love samsung boxier
Amazing how they listen to customers when it comes to s25 ultra but when we complain about the fold phones needing a stylus embedded in into the phone it goes in one ear and out the other.
Can you specify what you mean when you say edges? The dges should be the sides but when you refer to the Note 7, you point at the corners being rounded. I don't understand how rounded corners mean the edges won't be sharp
For sure I definitely prefer round corners... boxie design is out of me . That's why I didn't bought s22u s23u and s24u
Good. I 've had the S2, S4, S6, S8 Plus, S10 Plus and now the S21 ultra so was due to get the S24 in my 2 year cycle but decided against and one of the reasons is I just don't like the razor sharp flat look of it. I like the rounded corners and "edge" screen of the previous generations (so I hope they drop the completely flat screen too)
Well i never hold a phone with a boxer look but with it can solved with a Case but with the curve corners make look like a midrange phone like the A54 and S23 FE
OOOOOH! Thanks for clearing that up, Sal. I thought the Tab S10 Ultra would have the Dimensity Chip! I got some tweets to correct!!
Glad to help!
Rounded for sure.
Thank you for this video.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Sal 👋
Have a Great Weekend :)
You too!
Great video ❤❤❤
square/boxy type is much flagship feels than a common round corners
I hope Samsung sticks with the boxy design for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Honestly I would love a 2024 revision of the note 7 + with the thick forehead and chin, sing camera on the back but with updated specs. I had used one in the past( the batter was replaced) and it was amazing.
I am on team boxy, I fell in love with the S22 Ultra and am still in love with it🎉❤
Yes, bring back the rounded corners!
Personally I love the rectangular design of the S24 Ultra AI rounded it out... it would be another TV.
Honestly it's about time, the corners were terrible and it was too different from the rest of the lineup. I hope the other models match its design.
I'm thinking...
YESSSASASSSSSS. I was just thinking about it yesterday! The curved edges look so much better in my opinion
Sharp ultra phone is what kept me away so far from them. Now will seriously consider them with rounded edges
"The design is getting a MASSIVE ASS FUCK UPDATE" also samsung: The corners ar rounded now, Nothing else
Team box
It was the new Samsung distinction from the rest of the flagships
Square design is more good looking, rounded edges are just taking back me to 2018 era
And thats bad to go back??
@@RoCCo_CarmeLL buy it the square, put a back cover if you have soft hands. How about that to go back. There's an identity now, why would they destroy it.
@@69og only identity is curved
65 watt charger?
The boxy shape does make these devices look more attractive to me, while the more rounded shapes are more representative of cheaper devices.
I always thought if the s21 ultra had the pen insie with a flat screen, it would have been amazing... I look forward to the change.
I hope the screen remains square tho i hate rounded corners
FINALLLYYYY. Exactly what I’ve been waiting for. 🎉
Keep the box style. Please!!
The problem I have with the Snapdragon chip not being in all of the tabs is that you cant as of now get an ultra with the smaller screen if you dont want the giant display
Bring back S Ultra like s21, then Note Series.....we are not the same consumers
we need a curve display.
I prefer the boxier look over rounded edges
yeah i think the square design its fits me alot since i have the s22 ultra it looks amazing tbh i like the boxy shape sad that their making it like the note 7..
I'm not sure who uses a $1K+ phone without a case these days? I'm glad they're sticking to the flat screen, although I didn't mind the S23U screen
I do. I didn't pay 1k to cover it up with some plastic
@h3cz_ I use mine without a case, also. I know it's more dangerous... but it feels so much more premium without a plastic case.
I'm indifferent about the edges I buy cases for my phones before they arrive and slap them on immediately. I'm more interested in the aspect ratio. I have an S23 Ultra 512 GB ROM and intend to use it until the S27 Ultra comes out
If it is round than it should be round as s21 ultra or it should be boxer like s24 ultra. And slimmer means no change in battery size.
Hi sal I'm team s23 ultra all the way
Why not try as round as the ones from Note 8 or Note 9?
Nop... don't like the rounded corner.
They can still do it as long as the rounder corner doesn't cut the display at the 4 corners. I don't think that's possible cuz the bezels are to thin.
where i can find this widget or wahever this is on 0:04
"kwgt kustom" i find it
This makes me sad. I love the square corners. I hold my phone linger that many per day and have never had an issue with the corners in my hand, and my hands are pretty small.
I wish if the brought exact note 7 design..
Not that much curved and slightly curved edges (screen)
For me, round corners with a flat screen. I've got the 24 ultra and 24+ and pixel 8 pro. Prefer the case less feel of my 15 PM
Why are we hearing this news so early?
I'm fine with the current boxy design, it has never hurt my hands at all. I honestly don't know how someone can hold the Ultra phones to the point of feeling that the corner is hurting your hands. You basically have to squeeze the phones. However, slightly rounded corners a lo Pixel 6/7 Pro should be fine too.
Would rather go for s24+ if i wanted a rounder design.
If they want the rounded look there's a non-ultra version for that. Why are they changing it?
Thanks for the video :-)
As long as those corners are not 'too' round (like the A ones), then I'll be fine! I want my SPen and the big size of my Notes/SUltras...that's it! Very slightly rounded corners, I'm fine... if they move more towards copying completely those A phones....I'll be out forever!
Sounds like the S21 Ultra.
Which was Awesome
Yes best ultra ever (except for exynos)
Round is sleek
Headphone jack when 😢
3:46 Wiat why ut has Meditek 9300+ instead of 9400
When 9400 will be released?
It can't directly have competition with8Gen4 when9400 isn't available!
Definitly boxier! I design phones just for fun and did a lot of boxy designs which has also rounded edges by curving the bottom and top side inverted and adding a 3mm radius at the corners. I 3d printed it even and it felt awesome in hand
Dont get why they do all this stuff to the ultra... The s23ultra was in my opinion the best there ever was and they going to ruin it lot more over the years in my eyes
