A 2 hour dark soundscape album recorded by over 20 ambient artists to pay tribute to H.P. Lovecraft.
Come swim in the darkest oceans, where squirming sea snakes dance in fractal patterns to rebirth eternal bliss.
"Upon the melting sands, the black rush of the effluvium-the dismal pallor of acerbic portents, from subaquatic smelts that prefigure Time. The liquid aftermath of early-world mayhem spills from the cracks of the sunken Earth, evolving between eons of quiet rancour, emerging in sudden bursts of craving for the defining disorder of Dagon's will.
It is the same eruption that laid waste to the forgotten cities in the Age of Dawning. The same that swallowed the metal ships of the Bermudan triangulum and razed the toiling enigmas of Kush. It is the same that spawns the monsters of the broken underworlds, where Dagon's legions loiter in the cruel mantle." - Excerpt from Digibook
So is this a compilation?
No, this is a collaboration and huge undertaking. Over 20 artists linked studios and sound for over a year so that they could work with each other. This led to a deep collaborative exploration of the Mythos and Dagon
2 CD album comes in a Deluxe 20 page Hard cover DigiBook. Artwork is served on Matte Laminated pages that makes the colors deep and preserved. Journal written by Alistair Rennie, art by Simon Heath. Digital booklet included with download.

Ahh the soothing meditative quality of ocean waves and cosmic horror.
I have to say ... this album, with over 20 artists and the time and effert that went into creating this Masterpiece is a milestone in Dark Ambient history.

Got the £100 Lovecraft bundle because I got the Necronomicon for Christmas, cannot wait for it to arrive so I can delve into the writing with a suitable soundtrack to accompany me!
So its like a blank book that you can write in, styled and crafted to look like a Necronomicon ?
Should have just asked me. I have a supercut of all the various editions of the Necromonicon on a PDF. I figured one of them has got to have it right, so just put it all in one book. What's the worse that could happen?

I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this one in particular- Thank you to all at Cryo Chamber for yet another spectacular Lovecraft release. I wish you all a prosperous, healthy, and happy new year! Edit: After listening to this a few times, I am really, really impressed with it. Just a fantastic ride all the way through, though I do have a question, which is nothing to do with the actual music. I’ve been waiting to see the Yig project appear in the Lovecraft playlist, which it hasn’t yet, but Dagon is already there. Is there a reason for Yig’s omission, or is it just a small oversight? I’m just curious- thanks!

The mark of good dark ambience is forgetting the music is even playing, and just sitting in a state of mild anxiety for some reason.
Please do ethereal music of Eldritch vibes, such as from ringed alien planet with astronaut blabbering in radio and sings in unknown language into that eldritch music
If you continue with Lovecraft, I'd love to see a "Bokrug" ambient. If not, perhaps you could aim towards biblical demons of hell? Just a thought.
