Mountain Realm is my favourite Dungeon Synth project. The choice of sounds and melody sets him apart from the rest (and i've listened to many DS artists). The slow mid tempo bass with strange arabesque in the background on Tracks like "Goblin Cave" or "Pyr" mesmerise me every single time. Very unique soundscape. First listen of Shadowlorn and so far so good! (i particularly like the addition of natural sounds in the mix)

A bunch of different ones plus retro sampling styles like soundfont players, but it's more filtering that gets it sounding oldschool, and also microphones for field recordings and some acoustic.
