I grew up in Brooklyn, but I have lived in TN for quite a while. And Curtis and I are about the same age. Maybe we lived in the same neighborhood. Wasn't there a HS for the Merchant Marine (or one of the military branches) in Brooklyn? I moved out of Bklyn as a teen so lots I don't know or remember. I'll have to come by one Saturday with my mom who would get along so well with Curtis. Thank you for showing us your home. It is so well built and in great shape!

The stick-built Freedoms are my favorite, but I don't remember, did they all have screen doors? I love all the green on the exterior of the house. The skirting makes it look like a permanent structure. The wood interior is beautiful, especially the floors. Fortunate man to have so beautiful a home.

Curtis certainly seems fit enough to climb that ladder everyday but I would agree getting to the bathroom in the middle of the night could be problematic and living alone it’s a risk best avoided 😊

Loved Curtis house tour very enjoyable. He has a nice dog. I love dogs always have had them . My last one died in a January this year. Just have my beautiful cat left. Had three cats and two dogs. My last dog was going on 18 when he passed and second cat was 16 when he passed in June this last June . Just have Bonnie now she is beautiful. They keep you going and great companions.😊❤

I just saw a video of a tiny house with a pull-out staircase that I thought you might some how be able to use in your tiny homes. It was a storage unit, but it incorporated stairs that could be pulled out to access the loft. I have been watching for years, and one day hope to have a place to put one of your tiny homes. I don't really want to leave the Toledo, Ohio, area because at least some of my children live here, but there is no place to have a tiny home. Love your videos anyway, and I keep dreaming that one day I'll live in one of your homes.
