I was so happy to hear that you didn't become Catholic and remained true to the Assyrian Orthodox Church, because I truly believe that the tradition of the Assyrians is so important in the greater Church that is God's bride.
As a Maronite Catholic, I believe that our brothers (the Assyrian Orthodox Church) must remain AND thrive. I'd go one step further and say you need to teach us Lebanese our original mother tongue.
Sam Shamoun has said that he will eventually become Catholic or Orthodox. As a member of the Assyrian Church, he can also receive the Eucharist in the Catholic Church, while he cannot do that in the Orthodox Church.

You would have to prove that Jesus isn't God. Everything Jesus taught implied that he was God **everything**

1. Theopilus (184): mulai menggunakan istilah Trinitas. Tapi Trinity nya: God, His word & His wisdom.
2. Tertullian (208): tapi Trinitasnya: Bapa lebih besar dari Anak, Anak lbh besar dari Roh Kudus. Dan Anak diciptakan ada awalnya.
3. Alexander (313): Anak tdk ada awalnya = Tuhan. Terjadi perdebatan dgn Arias yg tdk setuju. Maka di adakan Konsili Nicea I.
4. Konsili Nicea I (325): Diputuskan Anak tdk punya awal. Arias & pengikutnya di usir. Tapi tdk ada keputusan ttg Roh Kudus.
5. Konsili Konstantin (381): Ditambahkan bahwa Roh Kudus juga disembah.
6. Dekrit Athansian (500): Baru diputuskan Roh Kudus itu Tuhan yg sama dlm segala hal dgn Tuhan.
Belum lagi issue tubuh Yesus ada dua nature: Tuhan & manusia, ini juga ada sejarah keputusannya. Dan Roh Kudus blakangan diputusin jadi Tuhan. Jadi jelas diawal blum ada Trinitas, artinya Yesus tdk ajarin Trinitas tapi diputuskan blakangan.
PERTANYAAN SAYA: stlh fakta2 sejarah Trinitas di atas bhwa Trinitas/Roh Kudus bru diputusin jauh stlah Yesus, saat Yesus tiada dan Injil baru selesai 70 thn kemudian, apa yg disembah pengikut awal Yesus??

- Manuskrip2 lama Injil itu beda2 isinya, makanya Injil yg akurat memng tidak ada. Bahasa manuskrip Injil itu latin, padhal Bahasa Yesus itu Aramaic. Dan ditulis bukan saksi mata, Shg Injil juga banyak kontradiksi. Hasil studi kumpulan ahli, hanya 18% yg benar2 perkataan Yesus di Injil.
- Fakta Injil itu ditulis 40-60 thn stlah Yesus tiada, cerita2 berkembang ttg Yesus shg saat ditulis jadi bermasalah dan berbeda2, termasuk ke 4 Injil itu dgn penulis berbeda. Para penulis, nulis apa cerita yg mereka dengar dan ditambah pendapat mreka.
- Yesus berkata ttg dirinya: manusia sbgi Nabi dan Mesiah.
- Terjadi perkembangan pndapat pengikut dari Yesus sebagai manusai menjadi dianggap Tuhan. Paul yg jelas memulai 30-40 tahun stlah Yesus. Ini tercampur dgn legenda Romawi manusia di angkat jadi Tuhan.
- Awalnya banyak pendapat/opsi ttg kpan mulainya ketuhanan Yesus: lahir, sejak di baptis, stlah di salib? Sangat membingungkan.
Faktanya gitu mmng Trinitas bermasalah. video2 dari profesor akademisi barat memng jelas. Fakta sejarah Trinitas dan Kristen awal yg bermasalah, mmng baru seabad ini tersebar di Barat. Makanya gereja makin kosong di barat. Kalu dulu yg nyampaikan bisa dibunuh gereja.

Yesus Bukan Tuhan Dan Tidak Pernah Sama Dengan Tuhan:
1. Yesus lebih kecil daripada Tuhan (Yohanes 10:29).

8. Yesus menyerahkan nyawanya kepada Tuhan (Lukas 23:44-46, Yohanes 19:30).
9. Yesus disetir oleh Tuhan (Yohanes 5:30).
Yesus Adalah Utusan Tuhan Atau Rasul Allah Dalil: Markus 9:37, Yohanes 5:24, 30,7 :29, 33, 8:16, 18, 26, 9:4, 10:36, II:42, 13:20, 16:5, 17:3, 8, 23, 25.
Mana ayat Injil yg jelas bhwa: 3 pihak itu sbgi 1 Tuhan, dan Roh Kudus jadi Tuhan??

Jelas banget fakta2 sejarah gimana paham Yesus dijadikan tuhan/trinitas berkembang. Saya bantu ringkaskan videonya berikut:
1. Theopilus (184): mulai menggunakan istilah Trinitas. Tapi Trinity nya: God, His word & His wisdom.
2. Tertullian (208): tapi Trinitasnya: Bapa lebih besar dari Anak, Anak lbh besar dari Roh Kudus. Dan Anak diciptakan ada awalnya.
3. Alexander (313): Anak tdk ada awalnya = Tuhan. Terjadi perdebatan dgn Arias yg tdk setuju. Maka di adakan Konsili Nicea I.
4. Konsili Nicea I (325): Diputuskan Anak tdk punya awal. Arias & pengikutnya di usir. Tapi tdk ada keputusan ttg Roh Kudus.
5. Konsili Konstantin (381): Ditambahkan bahwa Roh Kudus juga disembah.
6. Dekrit Athansian (500): Baru diputuskan Roh Kudus itu Tuhan yg sama dlm segala hal dgn Tuhan.
Belum lagi issue tubuh Yesus ada dua nature: Tuhan & manusia, ini juga ada sejarah keputusannya. Dan Roh Kudus blakangan diputusin jadi Tuhan. Jadi jelas diawal blum ada Trinitas, artinya Yesus tdk ajarin Trinitas tapi diputuskan blakangan.
PERTANYAAN SAYA: stlh fakta2 sejarah Trinitas di atas bhwa Trinitas/Roh Kudus bru diputusin jauh stlah Yesus, saat Yesus tiada dan Injil baru selesai 70 thn kemudian, apa yg disembah pengikut awal Yesus??
kalu ikutin sejarah Trinitas, kapan Yesus jadi Tuhan itu jadi perdebatan, karena Teologi (tafsiran Tuhan) itu berkembang di awal2 Kristen. Hal ini akhirnya diputuskan di konsili Nicea itu. Itulah sejarah manusia mutusin posisi Tuhannya.
