She doesn’t keep mercy and truth and has no grace(power of God to do his will/love). But wipes her mouth and says I have done no wrong.

      @@Rileyed I have looked into Sam for many hours and I find his knowledge and insightfulness into religious texts full of wisdom and understanding. He may be a Roman Catholic and changed his following a lot but that is his journey. You can take inspiration from someone else's Journey, but why would your judgement of their Journey apply to your belief and your own Journey so heavily? You place too much of a task and weight on this one man and forget he is fallible like the rest of us; doesn't mean he doesn't have some knowledge or understanding of the truth that no one else has and you can learn! Everyone is blind to a certain extent and I would argue he is not leading people he is speaking to them and sharing his insight and understanding relative to the text. Instead, place it in Jesus for that is what his purpose was. Think for yourself and speak for yourself and your own interpretation of belief instead of someone's else's; just to attempt to prove or say they are false...

    I have debated on this topic for more than 15 yrs. I went to a Christian college and predestination was THE theological view. I wrote several thesis on this matter. One of my simple arguments has been, is, and will be the fact that in the Bible, the word IF is over 1600 times (Obviously not all are used by God) yet, if we are pre destined and I do not have a say, the word IF should not be used by Gods PERIOD. If we are predestined, God cannot say "If you obey", "If you love me", "if you follow by decrees and commands". If is a CHOICE. I have the choice of doing or not doing something.

    • @Rileyed

    • @joan.oviedo7ace3
      @joan.oviedo7ace3 Месяц назад

      @@chrisneeds6125 soil? What you are not understanding is that when something is IRRESISTIBLE, when something is PREDETERMINED there is no CHOICE. It does not matter if it seems as "an act of benevolence" (turning what is bad to good) which REGARDLESS, that change from a bad heart to a good heart has NOTHING to do with you. That bad heart cannot resist turning into a good heart therefore the use of terms that imply an option, a possibility, should not exist. Under predestination the only terms that fit are "this is what is going to happen", "this is what will happen" "you will obey" or "you will not". Basically there is no struggle. There is no battle. I am exactly what in his sovereignty he wants me to be. I believe as much as he wants me to. I pray for as long as he wants me to. I minister as he programmed me to. I sin as he directs me to, I harm and destroy because he commanded me to. There is NOTHING that I can do that is not by his design. He hates and loves without cause and effect. I cannot serve a God under those terms, that is EVIL.

    • @joan.oviedo7ace3
      @joan.oviedo7ace3 Месяц назад +1

      @@chrisneeds6125 as Paul claims in Romans 8. For those he FOREKNEW, he PREDESTINED to be CONFORMED to the image of JESUS. the key is not that WE are predestined, the key to that verse is that the PATH, the PLAN, the way (through and by Jesus, to become like Jesus) to be transformed has been set. Meaning, the plan of salvation. Even more than that, it begins with FOREKNOWLEDGE. As in the case of Esau. He was rejected/hated by God before his birth (as God proclaimed) because he KNEW that Esau was going to reject God and would never truly care about his birth rights (which were a command instituted by God and were very important). Foreknowledge and predestination are 2 different things. I can already know what u will do but I am.not direction it, I'm not the one making u. Actually, go to Genesis 4. God reasons with Cain (under predestination and our inability to choose) and tells him, "hey, if you did this the right way, wouldn't I accept it"? And then tells him that sin is near him, tempting him but that he can resist it. Under the notion of everything being pre ordained, how does that make sense??? See, he is not telling Cain, u have a bad heart and u will do what u were meant to do. He tells him U KNOW what is right and if you did it I would accept you. Evil is around you but you CAN resist it. Those are all OPTIONS, CHOICE. Calvinism is just a philosophical interpretation and it doesn't fit scripture. It only fits if forced arbitrarily.

      Ever since the conversion of Saul in Acts 9 when the resurrected Lord Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus, the gospel of grace (not of works) is what saves us today, not the Kingdom gospel (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

    Dear Brother Sam, - I want to Thank you for your Ministry. It's very beautiful how you are used by the Lord. Don't ever stop allowing the Lord to you you as a vessel of Honor before the Lord God almighty. I love how through God's word you show The Trinity, 3 persons one true God and how you prove that Jesus is God. I wanted to share with you where Satan was Tempting Jesus and tgen Jesus spoke back to Satan and said you cannot tempt the Lord your God, so Jesus spoke and said you cannot tempt me. I am the Lord who is the Lord? - Jesus is the Lord. Then he continued to say the Lord your God. Jesus said to Satan I am Jesus the Lord and I am your God, so Jesus spoke saying he is God. Also in the book of Psalm 94 verse 22 - It says But the Lord is my defense and my God. The word is marvelous revealing Jesus as God throughout the total Bible. Amen. We will be praying for you and your Ministry, so that you will continue being used by the Lord, so thousands may come to Salvation through Jesus Christ. - May the Lord bless you and keep you under his grace. God bless you Brother Sam. - Your brother in the Lord. - Frank

    Regarding John 3:5, it is clear that Jesus is rebuking Nicodemus for not understanding, despite his respected position as "Israel's teacher." This suggests the importance of referring to the Old Testament, such as Ezekiel 36:25-27, to understand Jesus' intentions, which appear to be unrelated to water baptism.

      Genesis 1:1 > In "the Beginning" God created the Heaven and the Earth.
      Epilogue:
      Genesis 1:2 > [End] And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
      Logically, HE could reveal the End in Genesis 1:2 only after revealing the Beginning in Genesis 1:1.
      Genesis 1:1 & Genesis 1:2 are just book ends of History (HisStory). Else God lied when HE stated in Isaiah 46:9-10 > ... How come preachers ignore the fact that Heaven (singular) too was created on the first day and only the earth becomes void and without form at the end of time (before eternity to come). In the Book of Job [the timing of the gathering Job 14:12-14 > So "man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more", they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, "till my change come"], it is made clear that earth, heavens (first and second) pass away ; third Heaven is intact and there is no separation between Heaven and New Earth in eternity to come, when God dwells with Believers on the New Earth - that's why Jacob's dream has angels descending and ascending etc .
      Genesis 28:21 > And he (Jacob) dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the Earth, and the top of it reached to Heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
      Note - Only angels (not believers in eternity to come) descending and ascending, because the Heaven is the Lord's.

      A certain number of the angels that followed Lucifer, and the created gods (referred to in Psalm 82: 1-7) had physical union with the daughters of men after they left their first habitation (in Heaven around the throne of God). This has happened both before and after the universal flood in the days of Noah.
      Jude 1:6 > And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, HE hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
      Revelation 12: 3-4 > And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great "red dragon" [Satan nee Lucifer], having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars [angels] of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:
      There is this strange teaching among many preachers that "there was rebellion in Heaven" then leading to false theories like Gap theory. The rebellion was infact on Earth when Lucifer said in his heart that he would ascend in to Heaven and exalt his throne above the stars [in the firmament] of God] ... and be like the Most High.
      Why would Lucifer want to ascend into Heaven if he was already there when he said those things in his heart ? Because, he was on Earth when those thoughts arose in his heart.
      Besides, this present earth is referred to as the First Earth in Revelation 21:1 ; thus there could not be any earth before the First Earth, that could become void and without form.
      Revelation 21:1 > And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:. and the "First Earth" were passed away;
      Deuteronomy 32:8-9 > When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when HE separated the sons of Adam, HE set the bounds of the people according to the number of the Heavenly assembly [per Dead Sea scrolls]. For the Lord's portion is HIS people; Jacob (Israel) is the lot of HIS inheritance.
      Psalm 82:1-7 > God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; HE judgeth among the gods... I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men,...
      Thus, the gods were assigned to the nations while God's inheritance was Israel. Archangels Michael and Gabriel are atleast two of the angels that deal with Israel and are for the Jews.
      The angels that remained faithful to God [unlike those mentioned in Jude 1:6] are also referred to as "saints" who came down with the Lord on mount Paran to give the law to the children of Israel.
      Read Deuteronomy 33:1-2 > And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. And he (Moses) said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them (children of Israel); HE shined forth from mount Paran, and HE came with ten thousands of "saints" [referring to holy angels] : from HIS right hand went a fiery law for them (children of Israel).
      So when the Bible mentions God's futuristic second coming with His armies in Revelation 19 at the end of the age of grace, it is referring to faithful angels [not believers among mankind] who follow Him.
      Revelation 19:13-16 > And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and HIs name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in Heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean ... And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

      This Br (Sam) should have rather referenced Ezekiel as what Jesus had in mind (as you cited) when He spoke to Nicodemus. Ezekiel passage should have been familiar to Nicodemus but he couldn't see its spiritual application and was rebuked by Jesus!
      Water baptism had its place prior to the pouring of the Holy Spirit. Later, Spirit baptism (not just water) is what regenerate true believers as seen clearly in the NT.

    I struggled with this question for years. Without knowing what Sam will say here, I've arrived at a conclusion and it's this.
    God truly wants all of us to be saved but he will also respect the free will He gave us at the same time.
    So He gives us every opportunity to choose Him, to return the great love He has by obeying Him and worship Him alone.
    God is also not bound by time and space so even before Creation, he can see from beginning till the end, including all our choices to His opportunities.
    He thus knows who will be saved and who will not and those who will not make it will have their choices to blame, not God.
    After all, haven't we all been reminded and warned often enough? Every generation comes with prophets and evangelists. The Holy Mother herself has appeared many times to warn and lead us back to her Son. Yet many stubbornly disbelieve.
    Eternity is at stake, make no mistake. Repent now and turn back to God while you can!

  • @Navak_
    @Navak_ 7 дней назад

    53:58 Wow, he defines free will as "the freedom to act consistently with your nature." That is a huge interpretation of free will. That admits that you do not have the freedom to act inconsistently with your nature, which means your nature causes your actions. I think the overwhelming majority of people believe free will is actually free and would reject the idea that it counts as free will if your nature causes your will. It is quite literally not free at that point. It surprises me to hear Sam say this because that is exactly what I believe as well, that the freest free will can get is "the freedom to act consistently with your nature." But I've always thought of that as "definitely not free will" since it's not free but rather it is just as subject to cause and effect as everything else in existence.

    All things Heaven and Earth does not imply all things, rather it is an exaggerated statement to convey mission accomplished. The Thrones and Principalities are earthly kings and earthly authorities who hold power on earth, which is linked to Heaven and Earth, meaning our realm. The context of salvation is not universalism, but to subjects of the Cross as follows, "now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy, unblemished, and blameless in His presence". So this rules out the heavenly host, that is angels and any notion of saving those by any other means outside of the Cross or Christ

    Yes sam, God unconditionally chose who They wanted to have a relationship with to the point that only those who Father chose(not us choosing them of ourselves) and gave to the Son are set apart in the womb by the Spirit in order
    to come to conscious Faith by
    Gods working. Are those who will be saved and interceded for. If Yeshua does not raise to glory of whom was given to Him by Father to taste death for. He will have failed and sinned against Father.
    So sam, God predestined by Their unconditional choice in advance, vessels of Their Mercy to know the riches of Their Glory. And will be raised unto the glory of Yeshua's humanity. While others beforehand will not be spared from Gods unforgivness.

    Point being: As of 2012, there isn't reincarnation to feed our souls energy to demonic ventures over and over again. There isn't a hell like religions try to scare us. No matter how smart you are, you can't skip grades. You have to go through the pain and fire of this reality to learn from these Earthly experiences. This is a journey, not a destination. We are special all of us no matter what skin color we are. We are all the same consciousness of God living through us. Peace be with you and above all else learn to smile and accept, for free will is a gift.

    Judas serves as an illustration that predestination and human responsibility go hand in hand. Judas's destiny was set before his betrayal. Jesus said that he kept all his disciples from apostasy except Judas, “the son of destruction” (John 17:12). In John 6:64, it says, “Jesus knew from the
