Thanks for this video. I’ve been riding around in this heat dying to solve this. About a week ago my security went off and caused my truck to lose all presets when I disconnected and reconnected the battery. I did all the relearning stuff for ac but none ever worked. I just dropped this and manually flipped my ac to both sides. Will be ordering a new blend door soon! Thank you sooooooooo much!!!!!!
Nice trick to flip the doors!!!
When you say flip the door, do you mean rotating the little nub? Trying to do this myself
I had the same problem with my H2 and it fixed the problem Thank you
Nice job!!!
Thank you very much!

easy to do. I would suggest that the door stub that the motor turns, could be stuck. I would up trying to move mine by hand, then needed to use a pliers to help, it got freed and moving easily back ang forth. Suspect the door had sealed itself to one of the openings and motor could not move it. I believe, I now have a spade actuator. something to check before installing.
Thank you
I have a same problem .. Thank s your helping a lot!!
No problem
thank you
Just did it on mine and it works great thanks 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Nice good job
Thanks for the upload.

Change of blender motor seems easy as you demonstrate well. But what about the actuators, in back of the dash, one driver, one passenger side, others talk about?
Sam Sen there different ones it depends which proble you have there’s one for blend door one for mode door
Thank you... Your awesome and make great videos 👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you like them!
This fixed my problem
Thx for your time filming this masterpiece, it fixed my hell hot drivers side problem, so I liked comment & subscribed (something I never do)
Thank you! Good fix!!!
I appreciated the video it was very helpful. I replaced this blend door actuator and the aspirator. I recalibrated everything and still hot air. I took off the actuator and moved the door by hand and it started to blow cool air. It wasn’t as cold and the passengers side but it wasn’t hot. I’m not sure if the actuator is working or if the door is jammed. I took off the actuator I plugged and connected it to see if it would turn or make noises and I heard and saw nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Do u have dual control? Also low Freon could cause only partial of the ac to cool
Yes I have dual controls. I will check on the Freon this weekend
@@tonydesantis-wt1hn Any luck? I'm trying to puzzle this out myself.
@@lavaeater100 Okay The car should be ready this week and what was found didn't surprise me. I had a major AC leak which explained why the AC was not getting very cold. Second, the blend door actuator under the glove box was bad. I was surprised with that as I bought that part at AutoZone as new. Now the fun part. Since I had the AC being worked on my H2 has 222000 miles on it I decided to replace the heater core and get the system completely rebuilt. Overall not what I wanted to do but I am almost finished rebuilding the car. I purchase the H2 for 8500 but with this service I am close to 60k invested in the vehicle. Once I replace or rebuild the engine the rebuild will be complete.
@@lavaeater100 I forgot to hit reply on my earlier response. Okay the blend door actuator that is under the glove box was bad. I just put that one in so it was defective. I had a major leak which was causing the AC not to cool properly. So I can not perform these tasks at this point so I had a shop do it. They replaced the condenser and the AC lines. I actually have 223000 on my H2 so I am sure the heater core was going to fail at some point so I also have them replacing the heater core. It sucks but the AC should be completely replaced after this as I had already replaced the AC Control unit. I only have to get the engine rebuilt or replaced and the restoration is complete. I bought the H2 in 2019 for 8500 with these changes I am up to almost 60K but the car runs great and I am happy with it. I want the H3 T next but I think I will buy the truck that has been restored and not go the cheap way.
In my case (2003 H2), it's hot on the drivers side, cold on the passenger side, and no controls work except the fan speed. Air flow always comes from the defrost and floor. After multiple attempts to reset, I broke down and took the dash apart to replace all 4 actuators. Still nothing! I'm officially pulling my hair out... I havent' heard of anyone who had a bad control unit be the culprit, but I don't know what to do next. Any suggestions? Also, I havent seen this mentioned elsewhere, but my unit goes to 75 degrees in the calibration cycle, not 74 as I've seen elsewhere. Is this a clue?
Welll I had lot of the control unit bad on American cars but check all fuses before anything
thanks from your new subscriber
Thank u bro !!! Channel gonna have great videos comming up
I appreciate the video, but it would have been nice if you explained if changing this blend door actually fixed this particular problem.
It’s fixed u can test it by turning it manually temp will change if it dosent then the problem is not it
What if i replaced everything and it still blowing warm air on both sides.
Did u check and Freon pressure I usully get these and Freon is low and it only
Allows half of the system to send out cold air how ever it could be ur ac system is low on Freon not able to make any cold air check or reservice the ac system
Hi, which part brings air inside the car
Mode door motor ur asking? Or u talking about recirculating which chooses air from inside out outside
How many actuator motors are there?
Blend door 2 if u have dual. Mode door and recirculating
@@RBTheMechanic How can I tell which one is bad. And where is the 2nd one located?
@@njcop11 well if ur changing air face then to flow then to windshield and if it dose change directions then ur mode door motor is good.
If ur air dosent change hot to cold or cold to hot then ur blend door motor is bad
@@RBTheMechanic my hot and cold work fine. Mine goes right to default and blows out the windshield defroster vents.
@@njcop11 that’s mode door motor
What’s the part number? Too blurry in the video....
no its not...wipe the snot off your phone

You got ripped off big time for that part. I found it for $15.00 👍
Nah I wouldn’t trust 15$ part I’m ok with the part price
I have cold air on one side and hot on the other, I want to get it to work properly to blow both hot and cold as needed. Will this fix my problem? I have a 2003 Hummer H2. Great video thanks
The side that’s not chaning temp check the bled door motor for that side
Thank you, where are you located?
@@dsanztintnzound6767 u have dual climate control? One on each side if u do have dual climat control
@dsanztintnzound6767 there are actually 3 blend door actuators in the H2 hummer... the one he changed, one behind the dash that controls the passanger side (I'm changing that one tomorrow) and is a pain to change, and the 3rd is under the dash, to the right of the sensor on the dash (I haven't figured out what this one does, but it's there lol).
@@jeszepeda22 I figured it out. The third one that you mentioned controls the dual zone.
all 4 top vents blowing hot air even after i did the calubration
Dose ur ac wrk? Put the ac on and check low side line if it gets cold
i put ac/pro in line witch it said Full, then calibration and still hot air come out only on both sides...even when Temp is at 60 still blowing hot
maybe the climate control unit itself is bad?
@@darrellkizzee6634 check the basics first if ac is operating
@@darrellkizzee6634 those ac cans don’t do the job like it suppose to be u need to recharge the system with ac machine recover vaccum and recharge it could be fault pressures too much or too little will be bad for ac system
I have cold air for driver and back seats but the passenger has hot air
It can be the blend door motor if u have dual ac system meaning u can desired select temp on driver and passenger side or low Freon check this video out it has low Freon ruclips.net/video/2sGsTzU1UYo/видео.html
