@annemfwolf Yeah, definitely not meant in a derogatory way. The ghetto philosopher in me is always battling with the heady uptight academic. dumbing it down, interestingly enough, is getting back to my roots. Simple speech is the most effective. Thanks for the lending a finely tuned ear :-)
Hi. I am learning development theories which I did not have any background. It is really difficult for me to clearly understand, especially when my class turns to Spivak. I love the way you teach and conceptualize these materials. I greatly appreciated you very much for sharing
hey, great lecture so far! really helping me out understand Spivak's text. I wanted to let you know that the page where the notes were uploaded seems to be out of service, wondering if there's anyway to still access the notes. Thanks, and keep up the great work!
Firstly, this is awesome. Secondly, I can tell that you're really careful with words. When you're talking about 2pac, you pause for a second to say that you need to "dumb this down a little" because things had been really heady in the video up to this point. In making that comment, it seems to me that you're equating dumbing things down with the ghetto element of your ethos of ghetto scholarship. In any case, thank you SO much for doing this work.
