I've watched tons of game list videos, this is by far the most interesting one. I've added almost 90% of the games on this list to my wishlist on steam (many of which I've never heard of before). Amazing work!!
I played The Longest Journey when it first came out and immediately saw it as my favorite adventure game, even though I played a LOT of adventure games around that time. The sequels were great, too, even if some of the mechanics were awkward and the puzzles quite challenging.
There are some truly moving moments in Enslaved. Graphics were great and the gameplay was good but the relationship between Monkey and Trip was awesome.
Right now I'm playing "ReCore: Definitive Edition" and it's actually pretty good. The grinding is good enough with a lot of puzzles and strategies to solve it. Gameplay mechanics is also varied enough to keep you hooked, all you need to do is survive the first hours to understand the mechanics.
Every time people mention Enslaved, I also think about "Remember Me". Those 2 just seem stuck in my head as perfect examples of underrated Action-Adventure titles that actually had unique settings.
This game was amazing. I never had a chance to play it properly as it was on PS3 and pretty flawed because of this (I mean mostly the framerate, very low res and a LOT of aliasing:D) but finished it three times and felt like one of the best games I've ever played.
Are you really one guy? Amazing videos and narration and so much content. Your talents seem wasted. Hopefully get lots more subs soon as your style is just nice and informative and is easy watching. Thanks and keep it up.
What a fantastic list!! So refreshing. Todays my bday and I got an Xbox gift card and without this video, I would have just wasted it. Seriously good job man. I think I might go with outward or vesperia :) keep making lists like these. So refreshing to see compared to the same old lists everyone uses. I really wanna try enslaved as well. Thank you for this!!
Ahhhh point & click Adventure games. Lost in the annals of time. Games like Simon the Sorcerer, Disc World and Sam & Max were classics in its day but totally forgotten now. 25:25 I am surprised there arent many games based on Indian mythology, arguably one of, if not the deepest and rich mythologies of all Civilisations going back 1000s of years.
