Does anyone know. How many grains of IMR 4350? I happen to have some of that powder and want to load some asap. In using a standard .330 208 grain bullet
If conflict ever finds it's way back to Serbia or the Prvi factory goes under for some reason, all us milsurp shooters are going to be out of luck big time!
Question: Was this target group at 25 yrds, or 50 yards or ?? Comment: Excellent Post. Thanks VERY Much for the information. EXCELLENT. I do have one of these rifles and am still learning the reloads for it. I have a Lee Classic Cast Press I bought to use for my 8x56R and my 7.62x54R . I also have bought a couple cast bullet molds from Lee and now looking for a better mold for the 8x56R. THANKS AGAIN.
Can you get into detail on sizing the .338 jacketed bullet down . I read somewhere that it could be done with a Lee .329 sizer made for lead bullets . Is that what you are using ?
Lee makes a .329 push-thru sizer, they are pretty cheap. They install just like any regular reloading die in any reloading press. There's a "ram" that hooks in the shell holder part of the press. You sit the bullet on that, and push it up thru the die and it squeezes it. I would be careful sizing down jacketed bullets. It can cause the jacket to separate from the soft lead inside, and can shed parts of the jacket when you shoot causing poor accuracy or crap left in your barrel. I also don't know why Lee makes the sizer in .329. I would love to find even ONE person who slugged one of these M95 rifles and actually has a bore under .330. Most are over .331! I opened my sizer up from .329 to .332 with sandpaper on a dowel.
I've had good luck with TAC and 4064 in this cartridge, and 2400 and Reloader 7 for cast loads. Email Ramshot and they will give you suggested loads for any of their powder if you want to try It in cartridges that isn't listed in their load tables...
I enjoyed your video concerning the reloading but was continuously distracted by the camera moving in and out and out and in and back and forth continuously,,,, please watch yourself and you might notice what I'm talking about ,,,,,other then that everything was very informative and educational and I thank you for that ,,,😎
Just wanted to thank you for all of your M95 videos. They helped me out a lot with mine. Take care!

Dad and I paper-patched an 8mm RCBS cast bullet and it measures .331 after wrapping. We haven't had a chance to accuracy test yet.
thank you for the info. I have some with steel jackets. not sure of the weight but they are from 1938.

Oh, and Hornady makes a .330 jacketed soft point bullet for this caliber. So does Privi. Grafs reloading carries them.
Check out forgotten weapons, he has a video on a prototype semi auto conversion of the M95 straight pull. It looks neat!
