The availability of the communication module (LTE) is temporarily limited for certain vehicles due to supply bottlenecks. the e line is good to go..merc just needs to stabilize the interor,exterior,hardware (electronic), mechanical design probably in a 20-50 year timeline. i do wish cars have steering modes incorporated for city driving (nimble) and highway driving (fast but stable). also it could be done in acceleration modes.."slow and steady" (city and highway=but still have jolts for passing)..and "quick burst" acceleration modes for city and highway..some days you just have different driving character..i think there should also be a "boost button" somewhere in the steering wheel. i think there should be safety features involved with this..so no one can just accidentally press the boost button and accelerate "blindly". like an accept and cancel button, a dash warning logo with a beep when the boost button is "depressed". when the boost button is depressed, and "boost" accepted with another button press and release..(this should happen within 1 or half a sec.) thats when you can use and accelerate..this could be done for safety redundancy when 80-90% of drivers are not race "aware". there could be different boost mode duration like 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec , 4 sec, 5 sec. there could also be different boost power mode levels..easy,mild,strong. i think e vehicles could be fully customizable in different areas and in inputs. to make ev's useful there could be "track or race" style customization features for the "general customer." but then you dont want road missiles that can harm or be used to harm people. 50% safety should be included for the "public" customer.

Great video! I found somewhere that EQS does not offer all of the massage functions as it does in S class so I'd like to know if EQS has all the same massage programs as S class? Thanks.
You can check our configurator, in EQS we offer multicontour front seats with active cushion, hot-stone massage effect. 😉

the care is great but the front design is boring.. please give all EQ lineup more aggressive front facia.. with more character., don't make boring electric designs!! thx.
This looks already if we're talking about luxury and EVs. The big screen in the front clashes with tine screens in the back, which also look like an afterthought with that mount to the front seats.
The doors are somewhat poorly designed as the dual tone nature of the design makes them feel smaller than they are, instead of opening up the air.
These are classic Mercedes features and since the EQ is meant to be something new, this feels like a desperate attempt at bridging a limited new vision with what people are used to expecting from the original brand.
Although astonishing in many ways, this car is definitely not a good sign for the future of Mercedes and its place in the EV market.
I'd say that having watched this a few times now, I am somewhat getting the impression that this is actually a terrible S class, as it doesn't any new standards that others have to follow for years. It's contemporary but not futuristic at the scale of previous NEW S-class vehicles.

People can’t be serious on how this car looks. It’ll stand out as the red headed stepchild a decade or less from now. Technology is great but don’t fool yourself into thinking the exterior design is good because it’s not.
Regardless of justifications of aerodynamics, one thing stands clear - EQS is an ugly looking vehicle. Egg-looking S class. Regardless of what technological advantages this car offers, I shall not invest in this car solely for its unbearable exterior design. I own S-class now. When gasoline prices become saturated, I have no choice but to say no to Mercedes because I ain't a fool to pay that premium price for a car that looks like minivan from the front and like a Mazda hatchback from the boot.
Do not purchase a Mercedes unless you are willing to have several years of computer faults and then once your warranty ends you will be forced to pay thousands from your own cash each year to fix. I had the same fault since I first purchased brand new, and Mercedes unable to fix it and have not swapped vehicle, and refused to even give the minimum fair resolution of an extended warranty. I have solid evidence if there is anyone else hear that wants to help expose Mercedes. I'm also writing to various news papers and vehicle magazines to help expose.

I did contact local customer service in UK but they refused to do anything (they said can only listen to what the dealership tells them and therefore they denied all responsibility). My warranty is with Mercedes, so UK CAC should have done something. In the space of 2.5 years I had to take vehicle back to garage 12 times, so it is shocking that Mercedes won't even extend (my personal opinion is they should have replaced it as it is a factory-built error occurring since purchase). Is there an international complaints team as Mercedes CAC UK refuse to resolve the issue?

@@MercedesBenz I have been trying since 2020 when I first purchased vehicle, but they keep refusing to support; therefore, I am left with a broken vehicle that has computer faults every few days. Mechanics are still trying to fix, but once warranty ends I will be forced to pay thousands from my own cash. It is shocking that a company as big, and expensive, as Mercedes would do this. My only option now is to take this to court and expose Mercedes for what they really are.
