Finally a found a real comparison between both the cars. Safari is the winner 🏆. Harrier scored really good ratings with global encap and same is the story with safari . Whereas all hyundai cars scores are really poor. I would definately go for practicality from safari rather than bells & whistles from alcazar.

Correct me if i am wrong…but the Alcazar will find a lot of takers from people who dont need a three row suv but would love that configuration for once in a while use. Also buyers of top variants of creta can well shift to Alcazar due to overlapping prices. And the ones in the market for a Safari wont buy an Alcazar, Hyundai just plays the game too well, you got to give due credits to them
Creta is better than alcazar in safety department. Only 5 people are unsafe in creta, while 7 are unsafe in alcazar. PS - Buy safari for the safety of you and your family. Avoid korean cars which are compromised for Indian market.

Great review as always. Aatish should have remembered that the Harrier wheelbase is very large as it is and the Safari does not need a longer wheelbase to fit 7 average sized adults.
Safari looks great. It turns the heads of the people around. Has gr8 road presence and macho look. Whereas Alcazar is sober, having people carier look.

@@samarwaje8895 I want to agree. Also, these vehicles are in a grey area between being a wagon and a cross SUV. However, the Duster then becomes a 7 seat Crossover, much like the Mercedes Benz GLS (different segment, but that is a good example of a 7 seat crossover). Very close to being a traditional SUV, yet very far. Quite confusing to sometimes define these segments, isn't it?
