What a great opoortunity this could be!
I think Emma's side of the draw is so open with Sabalenka withdrawal and Zeng defeat. Not sure about Semi. I think Mertons will be tough. But if Emma makes it to the second week I wouldn't want to be playing her.
@@andrewwalker9830 she's on fire, killing it in the sportsbook
Thank you
hopefully she plays gauff in the semi finals
Operatunery.
I will be surprised if she gets by Mertens.
A year out of the sport is a long time. especially in tennis and especially for a young player.
It takes more than a few months to reach a good level consistently
Killed that in the sports book, kept pressing the bet, good job Emma, let's go!
why are you surprised by her play ? yes shes played shit for 2 years but anyone who saw her win the US open saw she has loads of talent
@@ANDY1985UK2011 some people need to open their eyes. It's obvious when she's on she has special talent that goes beyond practicing. She did beat pegula solidly before Wimbledon. Pegula also beat gauff for like the millionth time. People don't pay attention, only looking for headlines
“Reach the semi’s” 😂😂😂
She’s got Sakkari next who she’s already beaten, and whi is notoriously fragile in majors, then a qualifier and then probably Kasatkina in the quarters who’s definitely beatable. Semi’s is a realistic possibility 🤡😂
@@crazycatpetera1404 yep raducanu v gauff semi final
Hype
like their drinking… not😛
British media overhyping their players, classic. Such myopic bias.
Like every country ever. Breathe
@@j.s3300 It's another level with the Brits and US
@@syrah8990 nope. Everyone is the same...you just pay attention to the british and americans more than other nations
@@j.s3300 Facts! People hate on British and American players because their countries are more prominent. It’s not the players fault 😂
next round will she los
another good win today
Emma is a below average player, why are the media so desperate to hype her .????
Outside of a pre Covid vaccine us open win where many top 30 players didn’t show and up and she didn’t face any top 10 and her opponents didn’t know her game - at $15 Million a year in endorsements she is becoming the new Anna Kornikova.
All the top 30 players were there you muppet, not Emma's fault if she didn't face any top 10 players because they simply weren't good enough to face her in the tournament, they all got knocked out including the favourite for the title and world no1 Ash Barty by Shelby Rogers who was herself knocked out in the next round by Emma in straight sets!😅 you are also forgetting crucially that all the players she faced were not only older than her but were also ranked way above her and vastly more experienced, she has no right to get out of her qualifying group let alone winning the title since she had only played 5 WTA matches in total before the 2021 US Open! Don't insult her by associating her with Kornikova,a player who hasn't won a single tournament in her entire career! 😅
You can fluke or be lucky in a tennis match and win but not a whole 10 matches and 20 sets in a row
@@lightninggornall "Let’s put this on the record. You don’t win a Grand Slam by luck. She is great player and can come back and challenge again.”..John McEnroe.
@@eyeofthetiger6002 i agree, she's definately performed this year after her injuries and is currently 52 in the live race, her level is around top 30 at the moment
ALL TOP 30 PLAYERS WERE THERE including WORLD #1 Ash Barty + couples of former US open champ. U can hate her all u want but make sure u get ur info right..dont just talk nonsense..
Over hyped, overrated and out. Beaten by a New Zealand qualifier.....not the future of British tennis.
