- AHHHHHH! THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT IS FINALLY HERE! This album has truly blown me away in every aspect. Not just with the actual music, but also with the design, color palette, photoshoots, marketing, and everything else that goes into a brand new album. I definitely think we have a new classic Taylor Swift album now!

19:20 I didn't think about sending my extra vinyl back until now. I pre-ordered the regular non-signed Manuscript vinyl when it first became available, and then was able to buy the signed Manuscript vinyl. I opened the signed vinyl to remove the insert and put it in a picture frame. I planned on keeping both the opened signed vinyl and the unopened non-signed vinyl, but now I ask myself why hold on to an extra copy of something I'm never going to open? I think part of my mindset was that ordering the regular vinyl wasn't a mistake, so I didn't really see a reason to send it back until you pointed it out. Thanks! 👍

I agree that the vinyl packaging is well done and the booklet is great, but sadly most artists wont get top tier packaging because the record labels wont spend that much money unless they are certain fans will go out and buy the records. It's SO expensive to add a booklet to any vinyl and CD packaging.
That’s so true! Labels only care about money, but I wish they cared more about actually making quality products and packaging!
I use the same outer sleeves as you do, And they've always worked well for me. There is a store online at a canada that makes them for double albums. I completely understand your love of taylor swift, My jam is the Grateful Dead and I do the same thing.I buy the different variance of their albums. Great video brother

6:47 Thank you! I had the same idea as well to just print myself a copy of it. I had wanted one of those cards (to 'complete' my TTPD collection), but didn't want to have to go out to the record store (that may not have received the cards - or had already ran out - as it wasn't specifically advertised) to buy another copy of the same vinyl I already pre-ordered from Taylor's website. I understand supporting local record stores, and I would have gone if there was an exclusive RSD vinyl variant, however I don't like having duplicates of things unnecessarily. To drop another $40 in essence for a single mass-printed piece of cardstock didn't seem worth it.

15:31 What differentiates the signed versions vs non-signed versions are the UPC codes (the vinyls are definitely different - not sure about the cds as I wasn't able to snag one in time). Based on your video, the signed cd lacks the "1 of 4" poster sticker. My non-signed Manuscript cd from Taylor's store had the same "1of 4" sticker just like what's sold in Target.

They are pretty similar but the vinyl does have more photos. Probably space wise they had to cut some from the CD booklet but most of them are in there!
I'm so bummed I missed out on the signed cd and Vinyl all gone by the time I saw it advertised!

I'm so glad you did this unboxing. I enjoyed watching this and you inspired me to return my Manuscript vinyl since I got the signed one. So I'll be doing that. I can't wait to get the cardigan. Did you get the cardigan?
My favorite from this album is Fortnight. Blondie finally got the lead single right. Post Malone's voice is packed with emotion. Id say my top 5 is:

Girlfriend is getting the manuscript phamon pressing and the manuscript cd and at the moment has the Albatross cd and the bolter cd and has ordered the black dog pressing and the bolter pressing also has the the black dog cd
Her collection is growing!
You can't return Taylor vinyl anymore. I thought I wanted the black dog deluxe CD and the Albatross Vinyl but I want the opposite now hahaha.
I was able to go through the return process for both of the vinyl I’m sending back with no problems!
Where is the Confetti?
As far as I’ve seen there hasn’t been any confetti for this album. Which I think is completely fine bc the album itself is more important than some little pieces of paper!
