If you take Vitamin D 3 you should supplement with vitamin K2. This moves the calcium from your blood stream into your bones. Take both in the morning with food , preferably something fatty or with a tablespoon of olive oil. Your bones also need creatine so I would also supplement if my normal diet was low.

I was going to mention vit-k2 as vitamin d makes the whole body absorb calcium. (Which includes our arteries which we dont want)
Sound ok doesn’t work though k2 can not move the amount of calcium your knee needs
