How To Restore Face ID with a NEW Ear Speaker Flex. JC P13 Unbind Step by Step.

- Here's how to recover Face ID after losing or damaging the original ear speaker flex or Flood Illuminator. This requires desoldering the NAND, Unbinding the sensor, then reprogramming the special JC Receiver Flex to get Face ID working.
You do NOT need the original Flood Illuminator to get Face ID working. Just follow along the whole video to learn the process.
You will need:

This only works on iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max

great content Jesse, but how do you troubleshoot that what is causing the face id to act like this, because even after programing the dot projector i still get errors, such us lower the iPhone, get close to the phone, try setting up face id later, sometimes it just doesn't say anything , and im confused what is causing it, i use clone-dz03 for dot projector, i appreciate the help for the repair community.

I was working on iPhone XS Max Face ID, but screwed up 😢
I was supposed to short the mosfet, but instead removed the capacitor and cut of the golden wires next to the capacitor and also the wires of the led light. I managed to solder the wires back and installed a capacitor back. Now if I test it with the i2c v8i it passes the test, but on the iPhone it doesn’t do anything. No Face ID, no portrait photos. Any steps suggested to take?

What if we want the True Tone back how are we going to do that at least the True Tone has already been unbound in JCID
it will return when you replace the ear speaker flex with the JC Flex
you have a great setup to record your videos, do you record everything at the same time then you put everything together with Multicam in FCP?

Hey brother...i have also a question for u i think as my knowledge in this flex we have to 1st jailbreak the iphone...u done it without jailbreak....is that possible to use jc flex without jailbreak and u directly unbind from the Nand...????? Pls reply....this method is support for all models like x to 12pro max?????

Hey Jesse, is this necessary? Your other video shows you just swapping the chip on the speaker flex. Is this for a different problem?
Yes. It's for when you don't have the original flex
Be careful when removing the NAND. If you apply too much heat, it could float the CPU and other components on the other side of the board.

Another great video Jess and good to see you back online. I didnt know the P13 could do Iphone 7+ nands? When using the Query disk section of JC software and type in the nand spec (THGBX5G8D4LLDXG) it clearly states that the p13 can read/write this nand., which is in the iphone 7+. Am I right or reading the software wrong?
JC P13 can read and write NAND through Purple mode, not the socket
I have an iPhone X that came in for repair. The phone was shorted on vdd boost. And I was able to remove the short. But now when I try to on the phone on dc power supply, it get stuck on 70mah. Would appreciate some useful help here

brow this information is a little wrong, to unlock unbide you no longer need to remove the nand, it is also possible to do the same procedure using i2c, both methods without removing the nand

Do we need to unbound the nand to make earpiece replacement work? Or we only have to unbound if the earpiece speaker is not the original?

I recently ordered tools I saw on your videos, I have v1se and Irepair dfu p10, but I learned that p10 only support old phones to iPhone X, can I use another nand programmer to unbound and activate with v1se? Or I have to use the jc p13, cos I was planning on getting a different brand, that support up 13 pro max nand programing, p13 is quite expensive with my current situation

3. No, only JC flex works with JC tools. You can't use another original. V1S won't detect it.

Your doubts are wrong. I've recovered original SN WiFi BT this way many times
@@VCCBoardRepairs that data is stored on the syscfg layer on the original nand. So you say that if the original nand is dead, you stick there a new nand, re-flash and then have all data back?! Why then you would need a gsx service to recover a missing Wi-Fi or bt MAC address?
This solution is proven to work.
You install a new NAND onto the device.
Restore
Pull NAND and scan it
Then program it with the data it recovered
And it will work
No need to pay for GSX service anymore
