As usual you do not show all steps. You need to glue and solder the lens assembly to the housing with UV glue and soldering iron. Very important steps you did not show :( ...
I do envy your work. Not just the skills required but the expensive stuff needed to cope with all issues. Lots of money on reworking machinery are mandatory.
I learned the scrapping a part of the broken phone n making it work from this channel. Even if you know it works but sometimes some these videos evokes ones hidden talent n strategies n I don't miss any of their videos. Suck an incredible knowledge they offload

Читается судя по всему чем угодно Ipbox подойдёт. Распиновка простая . SCl SDA Мне не понятно только одно, если родной читается и дамп не чем не стирают и не модифицирует то почему нельзя тупо залить этот дам в другой дот. Dear REWA Technology, congratulations for your innovative repair techniques. At the minute 4:14 we can clearly see that the crystal is connected with 3 pins at the base of the dot projector. My questions from this: 1) What is the electrical function of the pins connected to the crystal? 2) After the repair and exchange of the flat cable the 3 pins of the crystal need to be re-soldered to the base of the dot projector as they were originally? All internet videos after the repair dot projector do not show re-soldering the 3 pins of the crystal. Nobody understands or explains the electrical function of the crystal. Thanks.

Could you use these tools with a full front camera module to hotswap? Basically just remove the whole front camera assembly, burn the data to the new assembly, and put the new assembly into the phone?
My guess is the mosfet is usually turned on by some logic to activate the face-id sensor. This bridge bypasses that logic. Makes me wonder if this hack will affect battery usage

In my case, it's the dot projector not emitting a flashing red light when in Portait Mode and the background is not blurred. The flood sensor and Ambient Light Sensor are working normally I had exposed my XS MAX to an QR reader who emit red light for a dozen of seconds and one day after, FaceID stopped working like nothing. What do you think ?

This is absolutely wrong, you should not tamper with the phones, companies make there phone a certain way and repairing them at board level makes apple lose money.....you are horrible. ------Apple fanboi. does this work for when you get the "face id disabled" popup and greyed out face id option in settings? not an apple user myself so this isnt for my phone, but I fix phones for a living and like 90% of my customers are apple users, and while most of the time when face id is damaged either due to whatever damaged the screen or a genuine mistake on my part, i get a "oh I dont use face id so idc", there's always that one person that will get very upset (ie demanding I buy them a new phone and threatening to call the cops) and try to blame me, regardless of wheter I broke it or not. Usually this is either some die hard apple fan that takes everything the genius bar says as gossiple (ie they believe changing the screen erases data and that "cannot verify display" message means something and is caused by aftermarket screens) or some cheap ass that knows they broke it but is looking for any excuse they can find to get free stuff or hefty discounts.
Even if i'm given all tools and step by step instructions on how to do this, i don't think i will be able to. It just looks very complicated. I think I'm just dumb.

there is no way to describe how tiny the parts inside FaceID are. it's really difficult.
