    This has gotta be the most hipster "I want to go camping without actually experiencing the outdoors" list of ads I've ever seen. Because god forbid you go camping without your laptop and phone. And jesus Chris what if you get a speck of dirt on your precious technology.... You might have to...... Try and enjoy..... Nature 😭😭😭

      @thescumofhumanity 2 года назад +8

      @@huejass9130 I must not do much legit camping because I don't want to bring laptops fairy lights and speakers camping with me.
      Because I go camping and actually enjoy being in the woods for what it is and not bring as much technology with me as I can to distract me from it. OK bud.

    • @smellybearc7411
      @smellybearc7411 2 года назад +3

      @@huejass9130 Even the “helpful” gadgets are just overpriced gimmicks in my opinion. Jet boil can be replaced by a $17 Backpacking stove and a $17 Coleman cook set that weigh as much without sacrificing too much functionality. The camp chair can be replaced by a closed cell foam pad. It’s a lot cheaper and saves weight and space when backpacking. You are never going to be comfortable when backpacking, let’s be honest here. The same goes for that cocoon thing. It probably takes up a lot more space than a set of down top and under quilts while backpacking. As for car camping, you can get a setup that’s a lot more comfortable and cost a lot less. The power bank can be useful when long term base camping or off grid living, but there’s really nothing new with it in terms of core functionality. So yeah, if you’ve actually gone camping and have tried to put together a kit that works for you, you’d know.

      It is a very good package, especially this little one, but awfully yuppie overpriced for a cup with radiant fins and a burner. Buy it and you've got a good package all at once. My friends have it for motocamping.
      I have a Stanley boil cup $8, $7 knock off jet stove, and buy the JetBoil undersized butane can that fits in the cup $10. Weighs about the same...packs the same...has an ignighter...boils in 3 minutes....so the 30 seconds extra is worth the Franklins for me.
      But JetBoil is a very elegantly designed package....and everyone splurged on something.

    a $300 generator that is not chargeable by solar is almost worthless to campers. A 300 /350 watt generator can be had for $200 and a 120W solar panel for around $180 so close to $400 all in for a functional generator that will run a mini fridge for multiple days of camping or an emergency.

    Jet boil only weights 7.1 OUNCES! And when you consider the can of fuel is 7oz and lighter. 39 ounces. = that's 14.40 ounces. So it's about the weight of a football or Campbell’s soup can

    Really helpful list for camping beginners! 👍It would be ideal to use 600wh or above power station, so it has enough current output to boil the water, or use hair dryer in the wild. We are using Ecoflow River Max on short camping trips 2-3 days, and Delta for long van life events.

      If you need a hair dryer are you really camping?? I take a 15k mW hour charger just to keep my phone charged for emergencies. If you're using 600wh just take a generator your not truly camping
