Very cool footage! I never realized catfish have sucking power like carp! I thought they were just digging the bottom... We always learn something new!
Amazing to see how the catfish feeds - drags its whiskers along the floor head side to side until it hits food then sucks in. I don't think vision is coming into it hardly at all. Will need to think of a way to use this more effectively.
Verbaasd hoe moeilijk het is voor zo een meerval (met zijn stand van zijn bek) om van de bodem boilies te pakken. En hoe vaak je ze soms vangt om sommige wateren..........
That's interesting at the start the cat comes along immediately while the diver is there and seems to see him at the very last second. Wonder if that's an indication on their poor eyesight. Fish definitely have some form of night vision there's no doubt about that but maybe their vision is the same day and night so maybe the diver blended in with the background but bright baits they can see. Cats are obviously used to sweeping up fish mid water etc, why don't you try a foot long pop up or so? Put two rigs down, a wafter/bottom whatever plus a totally random pop up 1-2ft off the deck, that would be interesting to watch. I would be very interested to see this for carp too, some 1-2ft (30-60cm out there in metricsville) zigs for carp over a load of bait, just see what they do. Sniff and ignore, spook off real easy or...?
fantastic piece of filming ..always amazes me how catfish pick up bottom baits ...perhaps you experiment with say 3 big pop ups 10cm off the bottom and see if the catfish can pick up the bait easier ?
Congratulations! an amazing video, it looks like catfish avoid bait when was in a different presentation. It seems that it works better if the bait is the same type and presentation that the groundbait, the camouflage is deadly!
Awesome video and idea guys. Nice work! The video was 6 minutes, but I imagine it took a lot longer than that in real time - do you mind sharing how long it took for the fish to come back and actually take the bait?
Tolles Video ! Er hat aber den Pop up lange gemieden. Krass wie vorsichtig Unsere Freunde sind . Sehr Informativ fuer mich . Da kann man sehen wenn was am Rig nicht passt oder Ihn stoert beisst Er nicht .
So, yes, they will eventually eat boilies, but they will come over and investigate them several times before actually eating. I doubt that they'd have ignored a deadbait and left it for later.
Well done 😎👍 Another great vid..🍻🍻 Can you or anyone who is more experienced in fishing please give us aproxmat weight of that catfish , because me and my bro are having different opinions on the catch weight 😂😂😂 I apologise to all for my bad English, sorry it's not my native language 😅
Youre Catfish is complete different to the European one. The European one is much harder to catch. The best way to catch one is by using an live bait fish, but thats forbidden for the most countrys in Europe. You can also use an dead one or bunch of worms. boilies work only, if there are a lot of carpfishers, feeding them.
Hey guys i have a question, wiTch camera do you use? I wana start filming lokal fishes underwater too but i just have a waterwolf cam. Best regards. David

Great video. I'd love to see some pike taking baits, specifically how they interact with pop ups. I use balsa wood for example. Keep them coming lads!
Ye that would be class
Neutral buoyancy baits for cats!!!!! So much more efficient!! Nice video

More Catfish please man!
Awesome, great video 👍🏻.
Good luck 👊🏻😎
Gigantic catfish ???🤔🤣🤣nice Video
That fish knew to be wary of bait clusters. You can see it pick up individual baits scattered much further away.

3:26 looks to me like he acually wantet to catch a red eye there
“Jurassic Earth” would have been a much better title. Too many of these movies use “world.” Kinda shows a lack of imagination.
Toffe video man love naar meerval

It never amazes me how wary these carp and cats are of any bait, see those fucking bream giving no fuck though ey, that's a shame.

TO BAD ICANT USE CAMERA ON RIVER CATCHING WHITE FISH
In the US we catch lots of catfish just putting on a hotdog on a circle hook

@@RheinFisher live bait fish works best here too, but it is banned in many places as well

Hi
whats the song at 3.44?
This is such a waste of so much bait, I can fish with one small piece of bread for every catch and still get 15-20 fish in a day
🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
Silurid
That's not a gigantic catfish. And hopefully iit learned a lesson not to eat bait floating above the ground.
