My boy cooler finally got some justice. 1.31 wasnt enough when his OTG was too slow. However, this patch is still questionable (Blue Vegeta instant S Tier).
Most importantly now his js is useful for neutral lmao, this is one of the things I'm happy with in the patch, alot of other things are lazy messy and poorly thought out
The meter gain nerf is definitely an interesting way to punish the Meta for mostly playing Fusions/Lc21.EXE As far as the characters I play goes, this patch was the literal definition of "No news is good news" since: - 17 & Blue Goku didn't get nerfed despite all the out-of-nowhere crying/whining on Twitter - Tien is unchanged, but he's perfect as he is, so no change was needed imo - Trunks buffs are much appreciated Overall: I'm interested to see where things go from here and hope this is enough to make the game fun to watch/play again

Seems like the goal of the patch is leveling out the playing field 1) Giving every character either strong projectiles and/or strong anti-projectile moves 2) Nerfing meter gain for top-tiers 3) Removing one thing away from every top-tier, and adding one thing for every other character Feels like they're trying to move every character to the strength of the high-tiers. However, some high-tiers have buffs, it's possible that we have a new top-tier rise
The only Tops that got nerfs were Lab Coat, and SSGSS Gogeta, who got one. The others just got slapped with the Meter Penalty with their tools untouched.

As someone who has been playing Z Broly since release, while I am sad to see that tiny bit of character identity gone from needing to spend resources or an assist to combo off of J.H, I'm much more glad that he FINALLY can do his own combo routes without needing them. The mid combo character swap was big for him, but this will make him much better to play as my anchor
You forgot the fact that Roshi can combo from 214S (thunder shock surprise) without vanish or assist, it's huge af since he can even 2M after it, and the scaling is small, it's now part of his most damaging combo and this create more optimal bnbs for him.

2/3 of my team got gutted and I was finally getting good with it to. I have to learn a whole new team. Great time to lose all my progress ranking up now since I don't fucking lab teams cause I don't remember shit like that I learn through actually playing the characters. The only good thing is my main 16 got buffed but it's suppose to be a soul for a soul. Not 2 for 1.

Important change to Yamcha you forgot to mention is that they also made the middle of his 5H's animation (the one where he hops back and hits forward) invincible too, which now elevates the move from a gimmicky spark bait to an actual legit reversal option lmao

Seems to be invincible to most things too from what little I played around with him today: hits, ki blasts, some supers even, etc. I haven't tested it enough but I think as long as it isn't something that would linger enough to hit him during the active part he just goes through it
As a DBS Broly main, being able to having a confirm with Beam SD as well ball control will open up some crazy stuff that I wanna try. He’s already so much fun that this will just be icing
first time viewer. Sick video good befores and after. Learned a lot. My favoriate patch is the 2M projectile involn on Beurus. It always felt like he is going below the projectile so it shouldn't really hit. A 2H is great for countering though that hurts a lot.

This isn’t every change btw. You forgot to show the frieza A assist buffs and also missed a few other things. For example cooler got a lot of frame data buffs, Kefla got less recovery on her 5m, I could list more but this definitely is NOT every change😂 you missed a good amount
This patch was great for me since my characters (S broly, gotenks, krillin, trunks, ssj goku, Ssj4 gogeta) either got buffed, got changed a bit, nerfed, and stayed the same

I've personally read the notes and tried to sit through a few videos (that are usually an hour or 45 minutes minimum) and still learned less than I learned in this 6 minute video all together. Like how the heck did I miss that Z Boly JH thing?!?! That's CRAZY good. and finally he has a real same side knockdown (if only they'd give a knockdown to Hit and Ginyu) Still can't believe they nerfed Hit's meter as if he were remotely as good as the others that got nerfed. Zamasu didn't really deserve it either.
Although i disagree with the meter debuff, i think its the best way to change the meta and somewhat force the players to try new stuff and add more risk to fusions.
My team consists of base goku, blue vegeta and hit, so seeing the hit nerf kinda sucks, but the possibilities with vegeta got me considering going to practice mode
As a Hit main, I actually like this nerf. A 25% meter loss isn't all that bad if you have the right assists to help him out. He was too OP after his last buff, so this definitely grounds him out. Seeing Gogeta, Vegito, and Lab Coat take a massive hit like this never felt so great.
Hit needs meter gain bc all of his combos need meter for vanish if you dont have assists, and his ex moves are his best tools so you need the meter for that as well
The cooler changes are the ones that excite me the most. Kefla’s will continue to disappoint me somewhat. She needed more damage and needed a buff to her 6H. Making the overhead slightly faster and safer on block would not break the move. She already has lower than average damage for a point character. She is the only character that I know going into I’ll most likely have to 3 touch with a lot while Gogeta will still two touch my characters in this patch. If she cant two touch, give her the mixups to justify the low damage.
Less recovery time on C Assists? That’s basically all I need to see. That’s gonna be fun and help me recognise I do indeed have assists available to use when I want/can.
Didn't talk about the ginyu assist changes. A assist now has the same range as 236X and B assist has 2 members summoned. Also SSJ Vegeta already had J2L/M

The Krillin Buff is new in 1.32. You can now choose to cross-up by pressing forward.

Kefla buff is awesome, it opens new routes for mid to corner combos.

My least favorite change is buffing z broly more because he defiantly needed more options
Although i disagree with the meter debuff, i think its the best way to change the meta and somewhat force the players to try new stuff and add more risk to fusions.
My team consists of base goku, blue vegeta and hit, so seeing the hit nerf kinda sucks, but the possibilities with vegeta got me considering going to practice mode

As a Hit main, I actually like this nerf. A 25% meter loss isn't all that bad if you have the right assists to help him out. He was too OP after his last buff, so this definitely grounds him out. Seeing Gogeta, Vegito, and Lab Coat take a massive hit like this never felt so great.
Hit needs meter gain bc all of his combos need meter for vanish if you dont have assists, and his ex moves are his best tools so you need the meter for that as well
Finally Vegeta blue and nappa hot some love, best patch in a long time ❤
The cooler changes are the ones that excite me the most.
Kefla’s will continue to disappoint me somewhat. She needed more damage and needed a buff to her 6H. Making the overhead slightly faster and safer on block would not break the move. She already has lower than average damage for a point character. She is the only character that I know going into I’ll most likely have to 3 touch with a lot while Gogeta will still two touch my characters in this patch.
If she cant two touch, give her the mixups to justify the low damage.

Less recovery time on C Assists? That’s basically all I need to see. That’s gonna be fun and help me recognise I do indeed have assists available to use when I want/can.
They could give back 5-10% meter gain for those characters but otherwise I am loving the BEAM UPDATE. Glad Yamcha got a buff. An odd one at that
Didn't talk about the ginyu assist changes.
A assist now has the same range as 236X and B assist has 2 members summoned.
Also SSJ Vegeta already had J2L/M
