Hi Sharon. Lovely to hear from you. Yes - I got the email. The pendants are Lovely ❤. The glass is great! 😊
Lovely varied pieces by students. Particularly loved the Cat as so realistic and also Gill’s Beautiful Vase-outstanding- given me some ideas other than globes!!!❤️❤️
Thanks so much for watching. 😊
Stopping the video to exclaim my love of the plate and glaze with the True Celedon!!!!! 💚
Hi Lori and thanks for watching again 😊. Lovely plate - I might do a video on the process of how to make this 🤔
OMG Philippa - amazing foot ring on your lovely bowl! Loving that Mayco Ash glaze too, and seeing Jo's bead being used. I still treasure and use mine. Never forgotten Those big bowls behind you, Sarah - WOW! Can't wait to see those glazed.
Thanks for tuning in my lovely vinyl Queen. Next week's video stars your gorgeous vinyl stickers 🥰🥰
Amazing glazes. Love the cat! I am so glad your videos have resumed. I thought I would show you what I am working on. I brought hydrangeas and pressed them into white Kota porcelain and cut out pendants. Glazed 2 in lavender and one in pale blue. Put white or green around the edge, pear in center and added glass frit centrally on the petals and a tiny pale green chip over the pear in center. They are waiting to be fired. I will let you know the outcome!!!
Beautiful pieces 😍
Every single one has a character of its own. I thought the bowl with sea salt on the outside and sapphire within looked really classy. A very satisfying video to watch... 😍😄
Thanks so much for watching. I'm very blessed with very talented students 😊
What great pieces 😍
Thanks so much Barbara. They're a talented bunch! 😊
Great comments on the glazes, Sarah.
Thanks so much Patrick. Much appreciated 😊
lovely kilnload...i luv the mini poppyheads, its on my wishlist to make....i do lowfire...but have midfire clay...and a collection of elements glazes...gonna defenitly make testtiles...or little testbowls, that might be a safe option for my kilnplates...lol...the cat is lovely btw...even without the tail😉
Sounds great! Thanks so much for watching. Test tiles are a great idea 😊
Beautiful pieces as always! The cat is absolutely fabulous!!! You didn’t mention whether or not you had taken the sneakiest of sneaky peeks beforehand!! Lol
Hi Michele- you're right I didn't mention that! Must include the catchphrase 😆.Thanks as ever for watching 👀 😀
@@thepotterycorner HAHAHA. I notice the most silly or strange things! But I do love hearing you say it.
Love all the pieces!! Learning a lot. I have a question about the pinholes, sinces I have them on some of my work. You say something about I put it in the bisquit fire?
Why is that? Will that work?
Greetings from Ellen from the Netherlands
Hi Ellen and thanks for watching. Pinholes happen for many reasons but particularly with this Amber Ash glaze as I am firing it to stoneware temperature (1212 degrees centigrade) instead of earthenware temperature which would be around 1100 degrees. That's why this glaze is misbehaving. I would advise lowering the temperature a little and see if that helps. 😊
@@thepotterycorner I surely will try that! Thanks for the advice, and hopefully it will work for both of us!
Sarah, I am digging the shorter hair! Love it I a struggling with my hump mold slab bowls. Warping like mad. Also my Amber ash bowl is horrible lol looks like a baby diaper of a sick baby 😂😂😂 why do yours looks so nice and blue? I will email you a photo but it’s bad lol
Also, I stuck mine in a 05 bisque ans it healed the pinholes. Still came out awful for me hahah
Let me know if the pix by email does not come through
Will send picture by email.
Got it!
