Dear Friends,
This video tells about scenic rail route from Rayagada to Koraput at eastern ghats hills located in the eastern part of the country. Here train passes through mesmerizing scenic places up in the mountains, crossing gorges, tunnels,river bridges & via-ducts. This is an absolute paradise for the nature lovers, railfans and travelers. This rail route starts at Rayagada in the eastern state of Odisha and ends at Jagdalpur at the east central Indian state of Chattishgarh. Now I am traveling in those places and able the catch scenic rail actions up in the eastern ghats mountains.This train's name is Samaleswari Express which starts her journey from Howrah and goes to Jagdalpur.
Koraput Distance from major cities on India:
1.From Mumbai : approx 1800 Km
2.From New Delhi : approx 2500 Km
3.From Calcutta : approx 1000 Km
4.From Chennai : approx 1500 Km
Nearby airports : Vizag (250 Km) , Raipur (250 Km) and Jeypur (25 Km)
