Starved Rock State Park, Illinois - In seasons | 4K drone, GoPro and time lapse

Few trips in different seasons to gorgeous Starved Rock State Park. Well known for its canyons and waterfalls. Close proximity to Chicago makes it perfect destination for day trips. Every season has something unusual to offer and always worth a trip.
Starved Rock State Park is a wilderness area on the Illinois River in the U.S. state of Illinois. It’s known for its steep sandstone canyons formed by glacial meltwater. Awe-inspiring bluffs and rugged canyons dominate the storied landscape at Starved Rock. A wooded trail leads to Lover’s Leap Overlook, with views of the river and Starved Rock Dam. Several, including the St. Louis, French and Wildcat canyons, have seasonal waterfalls. More likely in the spring or rainy days.
4K drone footage done with DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Ground footage done with GoPro Hero4. Time Lapses are done with Canon 5D MKIII.
Edited in Lightroom 5 and Premiere Pro.

Awesome video and an amazing time lapse. Starved Rock is a great place to visit, no matter the season. Love the aerial views with the fall colors. The frozen waterfalls/ icicles are always cool.

Thanks. Park was closed that day as you can see on empty parking lot. I was outside of the park. Ground footage in the park are filmed in different seasons.

I remember I almost died because it was winter and I was on the edge next to the waterfall and it was very slippery because of the ice
