Carving the Grille from Wood with CNC Milling Machine - 2020 Bronco concept 1/6 - Part 8

- Linden block for the grille frame
Hexagonal steel perforated sheet (2 mm hole x 1 mm pitch x 1 mm thick)
Styrene (1.5 mm thick)
Plywood for the letters
Painted with wood stain, a bit of spray, several layers of varnish
The milling machine I used is 3018 PRO CNC Router.
It helped me learn about milling and take the first steps.
If you intend to order this machine, you should know that this is a product designed in China with a quality equal to it's price. -
Amazing work!
Love your work . I can't wait to see it finished. Keep up the great work.
Nice work!
Mesmorising watching you build this piece!👍
If I half the the thought process of you I'd be happy. Doing such a nice job 👍
Stunning!
You are an ARTIST man. 😱😱😸🙌
Great machining work
What an awesome build high five buddy!
You’re awesome
Love the cnc and great job 👍 I don't know the proper description but recently made a Zelda shield using a fibre board material I was given by a friend, it's not a wood product more like some kind of pvc but it is very strong yet easy to saw and carve and sand 😊 I think I posted it on my channel 🤔 I just wish I had more of it 😬 can't wait to see the Finished project
Exelente proyectó.
Nice.
nice
Cooool!!
I can't wait to get the 2020 Bronco in white. I'm going to drive down the highway very fast for a few hours.. While camera men with blue and red flashing lights get some great footage for my RUclips channel. All while drinking some Tropicana O.J. 😁
You can use HD foam in stead of wood for milling..
🔥
Hola soy de México y me entantan los modelos que haces, sigue así, hi i from to México and i love your scale models, u rock!
Congratulations on your first CNC router! Are You going to do any upgrades in near future?
Please, make a KAMAZ model in same scale, it will be really cool
i think i would believe him if he said he made the cnc mill out of a paperclip and an automatic toothbrush motor
😏🙄 where did you buy the perforated sheet?
This might sound weird but I’m looking forward to the doors 👍
will be easier if you buy a 3d printer to make those? Is way too much work with the cnc
8 hours and hand finishing?? ?
What CnC are you using?
Bronco of the battle robots?
Couldn’t see it clearly on my phone… were you using a slide rule to bend the mesh?!
That's true
Freaking sweet!! What’s your total build hours so far? If you know.
Thanks! I work every day at about the same time, but prefer not to count the hours.
Konstantin Bogdanov no doubt. But in my opinion, you are one of the best builders out there. Yours attention to the details is remarkable. Can’t wait to see this rig finished.
Hi
What is your software for generate g code ?
Tanks a lot
so why did you not 3d print the grill ??
Because this was a cooler method in my opinion.
Definitely!
@@bkonstant Haven't watched all your videos, but seems to me you intended to let this one look like it was made out of wood. Either way I appreciate what you are doing. Gives me idea's for when I decide to tinker with an RC model.
John just asking wood would not be my first choice but ether way it is still cool
@@bkonstant Do you plan on doing custom 1/6 scale motorcycles of various models? That'd be extremely awesome.
Is this cnc file available to download?
could you do 1/8 scale 32 ford hot rod frame! I will pay for it..let me know please..
8h for this crap result ? broh ! set proper toolpath spacing, according to your v bit tip radius, and judging by the sound, your travel speed seems too high for that wood.
anyways the scalpel job is clean, but still, when the params (feed rate, parallel spacing) are set correctly, the cnc can output a smooth surface that doesnt require any post processing, V carving bit does wonders.
