2020 Bronco Original concept 1/6 - Part 4 - Cage body frame

Wood rods and 3D printed connectors allow me to change the length if I need to and replace parts in the future.
The frame is actually very solid and durable, especially the front part.
8 mm square linden and walnut rods
77 screws used to assemble this frame

I am also curious as to the type of wood used.
I'd assume that some pieces need more flex and lightweight? And other spots need more strength regardless of weight?
Stabilized balsa is great, but an ironwood could be awesome for parts lower down.
Can't just be looks.
I dunno. :)
