HA HA!! Just got her back on Saturday! It ran good before, but now it's an animal!! Thanks Joe for all of your great work, and I'm glad that i found you. I got some big county trees that are going to feel the pain of this ol girl! Thanks again brother! Semper Fi, Steve Tree Corps
Man what a saw…I got one 2yr ago and always heard 88s take to porting as good as any…rich at myrtle cr done my 394 10yrs ago ands a smoker….I see long noodles and big chip piles in yer near future…
Nice gains! Thanks for sharing, it's cool to see were this saw ended up with the mods. Port work, muffler mod, and Maxflow are all a must on this saw. When my 70 and 90cc saws start to feel heavy in the woods I drag out my 880 and wow! the other saws lighten right up!
Man, the before numbers were amazing. The muffler is very bad on these saws. I bet the stock air filter holds them back also. The after numbers were great, knocking on 13hp! Some guy got mad at my piped 660 video when I said it was 11hp. He said not even a ported 881 would make 11hp. Your dyno says otherwise.
Nice work man!. I have one of these that is in need of you fully modding. I have replaced the coil years ago with the one with no rev limiter. I have the part number written down somewhere. I'll try to get in contact with you. I'm brian. Thanks for making this vid
From a percentage point of increase your porting was fairly substantial gains! I’m looking at a new ms881 do you think this port job would be similar gains for the newer model?

Hows the Beast running after a year?
I am buying one Tuesday.
Dam, thats better than what you did with the 881!
Thats impressive.

WOW! Somebody got a workhorse of a saw here! Great work Dyno Joe!
I don’t think ppl realize just how big these saws are. Monsters.
I do, if ur not in proper shape Gd Luck !!
Very nice build! That saw is a beast!
I would love to see one of this cutting big trees. Amazing job
Beast mode on that big boy!
I like the big saws.... until an hour or two into cutting. Lmao
I been wantn a 084 even a 088. U did great job sir have a good week.
Crazy amount of power there man....
20% is awesome! I thought it would be more like 10-15% because it already had the filter and exhaust. Nice work.
Perfect for pruning
I just picked up an old 084. Might just have to give Dyno Joe a call.
That’s a beast. 😳😳😳
Thats awsome buddy im getting parts up to build my 880 im bout ready now hehehehe
Cant wait buddy!!
What a monster
Just ported mine last week still waiting on some parts but hopefully it wont be such a turd. It verly pulled a 59inch 404 full comp chain.
Nice Gains!!!!
Thank you!
I should see what you can get out of my old 084 then do a vid on it. It’s in beautiful condition too.
Unlimited coil/carb and a good filter, they can really run up top too
Hello Joe!!!
impressive buddy

881 gain well, but the 880 has more max power potential.
Where do you Get your Wisco pistons for your saw builds?
Wondering stock vs bark box numbers… and max flow…how much difference
the 880 is just stupid big lol..makes a 660 look like a toy....ive rarely used it for that reason...
Fun show n tell tho😂😂😏
How does the two piece muffler mod compare to an early aluminum muffler with a new pipe and no screen?
I have not had any of the cast muffler saws yet.
Man I need to send you my 462
Sounds like a plan. Send me an email, or schedule a spot on the website.
How do you think an expansion chamber, a boost port, and a reed valve perform with this cylinder?
The class dosent allow expansion chambers. And not sure anything to gain from a reed valve either.
I still cant work out how you fit all them horses inside the saw...
Have you done baseline pulls on an 070, 090, 3120?
Only the 3120
Can you get as much power out of a 3120xp?
Fingers crossed it should be close. Hope to have a 3120 all finished up soon.

Awesome. Love the channel!
This is very complicated bro. 😱😱
👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏
What saw has put out the most power? Work saw
I have seen the most from a 3120 work saw.
Metal shavings in beginning of video?
Where about? During the first dyno run? Those were wood chips falling off the tank/handle.
Thats what i asked myself too

Yeh, knocking some wood chips out from the tank/handle area. Did look strange though.
Bark box is a waste of money. Keep the stock cover and open the ports up with a second port on the faceplate.
