Treasure Hunt 2003 titles - how they were and how they weren't

Opening titles of the second series of the BBC's sadly short-lived revival of the 80s classic adventure game show Treasure Hunt.
And then again with the original 80s music.

I thought that, in its own way, the BBC music was just as good as the Channel 4 theme. But because the original tune was so familiar to many viewers, the similarity of the newer one jarred due to it going against what you anticipated it to sound like. That was the only issue I had with it. But once you got used to it, it sounded really good.

If it's any consolation, they did try to remix the original music but it didn't fit the newer style so they tried something new - David (clue setter, TH 2003)

I think it works, although you'd want to re-record it as it does sound very 80s!

That would have been because of copyshite no doubt
ie. BBC didnt have the "licence" to use Channel4's Music on the show..
