We never had analogue TVQ Channel 0 or Channel 0 in Adelaide but always had SAS Channel 10 1965 last commercial TV station starting transmission at the time, now SAS-7 hard to adjust 1987 channel change swaps at the time! Now in 2023 love analogue in digital times weather, shoulder pads, carpet studio walls, simper presentation with humour. TVO 10 now and 26 degrees and sunny Tuesday 31th January 2023 in Adelaide! I don't know what's aged the worst out of that switchover advert at the end there: that hubby just has to point out every piece of promotional material about the process, then read out each set of instructions in full; or the wife's being unable to get a word in edgewise that she's already seen that material and taken care of everything, until she butts in and reels off the final set of instructions first; or that she then has to console hubby's bruised ego with the help-line number. I don't think that kind of advert would be made these days, at least not without it causing umbrage among those who miss the point in the process. 😉
