Some of Asian can have straight high nose and some of not. Some of Asian can have big double-lid eyes and some of not. He debuted in 1999 when he was 18 years old and he have same nose from that time. In 2000, he interviewed about 'the nose job rumor'. He was naturaly born with the too straghit high nose, and when he younger, he embrasssed about his nose which is different from others. But after debuted, many people said him that his nose is looks good and since then he liked his nose too. And he twiseted his nose front of camera(someone 'do nose job' can not twist his/her nose). Yes, he looks little different when he was younger. He have orthodontic treatment his upper teeth because he had a pronouncing problem when he was singing and recording music. Also he changed his eyebrow style, loose weight, wore makeup, and passed more than 10 years. Most of professional vocalists do not plastic sergery(Especially nose, mouth structures and jaws) because It can be bad influence on singing. He is not an idol singer. He is one of the top vocalists in South Korea.

I just meant it out of curiosity. I had never heard of him before so I was questioning myself about it nothing more. And that does not change how we felt during the reaction of this amazing vocalist. You girls should listen more of his songs, esp his live performances and you all will know how he's so much different from those idol singers and how incredibly this man is. I'm not sure what you mean when you talked abt him singing live or not. FYI, PHS sings live even it's a MV. He doesn't need any auto-tune devices nor equipment in his recordings. Pls do check out his live performances cuz his live shows are the BEST! Check out the 1st mv on his Happy Together concert. It's really breathtaking n heartbreaking at the same time. In addition, he can literally sings any music genres (from R&B to Jazz blue to musical n rap too). So his voice not just fit slow sad songs only...
if I remember correctly it was because at the beginning there was all the equipment being installed I thought it was recorded like a live concert but then we saw it was actually in a mv format. (I only received the link and watched without checking any info on it before) I'm not saying that he needs auto tune of stuff like that, not at all. I just thought at first it was a concert format. I notice later for beautiful tomorrow like you said that even if it's a mv he is really singing (I think I said it in the video). I definitely have to check other styles of music he has done then ! I saw the comment saying he was crying because he was underrated when he debuted. But, it is not ture. First and foremost, he is never underrated since he debuted. Second, He mentioned through an interview that whenever he sing this song it reminds him the period he was conscripted and served the army. (2011-2012) During the time, He had legal troubles with his management agency and the court's decision sided with the agency. (it charged him about 3,000,000,000 won = 3 million dollars.) Actually, he had struggled ever since he signed a contract, 2006 for instance, he couldn't afford to rent a place to practice because agency didn't pay him. And the agency forced him to perform a lot, sometimes he noticed that he have to perform several concerts right next month through an internet article which means,,,, they also have a communication problem. He even collapsed few times while preparing these unreasonable schedule. he got spasmodic dysphonia after that. So he broke the contract with his agency, and of course agency sued him. That's why he was charged a lot of money after. Anyway, he even lost his house by a compulsory auction(?) (I mean, the auction which selling someone's belongings when they couldn't able to pay the bill.) while he was in the army, and after the discharge, he filed for bankruptcy. After few years, he found new agency, And this song is the first song released after all of this. I think when you react to a ballad,it's better to concentrate that song and talk about your feelings after the song is over.Especially,I don't want to miss out on his beautiful voice.^^
