After 20yrs of different japanese watch brands I've owned I've settled on a citizen titanium eco drive watch quartz for my forever watch who would have thought.... citizen watches are so underrated beautiful and accurate tool watches...
Mine is a first gen Seiko Astron (SAST015). I had it serviced last year by Seiko. It looks brand new. It has the best titanium I have ever seen, plus ceramic. The watch is huge, but lightweight. I love quality / luxury quartz watches. I have an old Quartz Aqua Terra, but Omega stop releasing new men’s quartz. It is a really shame. I have my eyes on a Citizen Chronomaster for my next one.
@@sinesaii Very nice seiko. An the aqua terra quartz is a perfect watch. I love quartz. My favorite thing about a quartz is the ticking sound in a quiet room. An i really like the the jumping from a quartz movement. Its very relaxing the sound an movement. An the citizen chronomaster is a very beautiful perfect dress watch. We have very similar tatse.

An, than, a automatic which is powered by a rotor for energy to keep the gears spinning an main spring powered to keep the time. A eco is powered by the sun, an light sources. It has a very long 20 year capacita life.
Something about the sum of this watch looks cheap; handset, polishing, crystal all add up to a disappointing total. For the money it's really good. With money out of the equation, it's really average.
mate probably never had a look by eyes, best value titanium watch on the market. the polish of the case is the same as the GS. what do you expect ? Rolex pretty much the same quality with a few more zero on the price tag. do not judge if you do not know the watch.

Same here, ive settled on orient star. Its a diver. Only watch i wear. An its my forever watch. A japanese watch is just so right.

One day, Citizen may spend some money designing a decent font for their logo. They had one in the 60s but must have lost it.

It's a different wear style than those two watches.
Speed master is a really nice watch. Well, the older models. But daytona is average at best. My orient star diver is better looking than most rolexes.

Clasp ist total waste. Every san martin for 150 has better quality. I would pay 100 bucks more for a better clasp. But this BS is cheap AF.
