Man, Jeremy is never just gonna take the L on the binge model. The weekly model is always going to build more hype & last longer. Part of the reason Thrones became the biggest show in the world is because you had 7 days between each episode where fans were talking about theories & predictions, swapping ideas & building the hype week to week as each season progressed. Compare that to a show like Stranger Things or One Piece, most people binge it in 2-3 days & the hype dies after a couple of weeks when everyone moves onto "Next Thing"
it worked for a little game called "Life is Strange" where each episodic part of the game was released 3-4 months apart, and each episode increased the drama, stakes, "abilities", revealing the main plot little by little, and always ending in a cliffhanger... fans went crazy.
New shows should do a 2 episode drop right in the beginning. That's a compromise between both camps. If they wanna go week to week after that, Im cool with it. But you need 2-3 episodes to 'get into' a show. I've dropped plenty of shows because they didn't grab me in the first 2.

These were in Return of the Jedi, not A New Hope, the bothans recovered the plans for the Second Death Star, not the first.

I need a discussion by Gary or any of the panel of what the MCU should have done after Endgame. If Feige approached and asked you to lay out the next phase or two what movies/shows would you have planned?
Marvel USED to have the timeline and realities correct. But then it sort of fell apart in 2005. Alternate Reality; Loki is a man, a woman, a crocodile, or a squired. Those are Alternate Realities. Alternate Timeline: Loki has 2 choices. A or B, choosing A is 1 timeline, Choosing B in a different timeline. One of their own supper characters explained it. Now it's whatever the hell the feel like at the time they write it. (Reality is forced on you because you can not choose WHAT you are, but you can choose HOW to spend the Time you are given.) I made this quote but I think one of the superhero's said something similar. I just couldn't find it.
I feel like the show is just falling into the non stop pitfall of whining about what's bad in mcu. There's a lot to dislike about the current MCU but you aren't building an atmosphere where conversation can happen, and more or less an echo chamber about who's right

Shad shouting is really annoying. I know that Az shouts too but meanwhile he also places dumb so I don't mind him so much. And Shad had nothing to contribute! He area of expertise are medical guns and fights
I don't mind when someone is there arguing, it helps with the echo chamber but this episode Jeremy was being a bit personal. But yea, any time someone is on that just sits there for 1-3h and doesn't say anything it's a waste. When he finally lands, he screams, "HULK SMASH THANOS!" Then let the bodies hit the floor.

Graham looked so bored and uninterested in this video
Yeah they didnt do the best job at engaging with the guests on this one, which is an absolute shame considering having the privilege to have these guys on, but hey this is FNT 🤣 i just wish when they had such guests on they would put more effort to stay on topic and discuss more and far less of the silly waffling shit.
Well it was basically just a shouting match between Jeremy and Ryan Az laughing over everyone for too long
When everyone around you is trying their hardest to impress you by saying the edgiest thing they can think instead of talking about the topic at hand, it can kill your enthusiasm
Loved what Kelley had to say. And Graham.
The weekly vs binge that Jeremy keeps pissing his pants over is getting tiresome. I feel bad for the guests who have to sit through what looks like Jeremy having a fetish for people to scream at him for being wrong. Regardless, great show.
It's such a bizarre thing how much Jeremy enjoys arguing with people, while being so bad at it
My response to the binge vs weekly is that it’s all going to be out there for people to binge anyway, let the companies do weekly if they want to and make that money.
DeNiro looking forward to all the stuff Jeremy promised to do to him
One piece was pretty bad, I fell asleep during the knife's guy episode where they try to get the boat. Not great acting or drama. I can't see the hype.
@@PunkarellaOGI have not seen it but I've been referring to it as "Onesie".
@@PunkarellaOGit's a different kind of show. I've never seen any anime before in my life and I've never read any manga. I decided to check out the first episode of One Piece just because I kept seeing RUclips videos and livestreams talking about how good it was, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I think it's supposed to be kinda campy and intentionally a little corny. I've talked to other people that didn't like it, but I liked it a lot and have talked to a lot of others that love it. It just seems like one of those things that is either love or hate.
Why do you guys bother arguing with Jeremy, he isn't thinking. He's just yelling.
He already has his mind set on an opinion and yells past people trying to make arguments. I don't think its possible to change his mind on anything.
Jeremy is right though
That is what jeremy always has done. That why he hates evs, he hated star wars theory (they kissed and made up) why jeremy fights woth 90% of twitter, and probably has a few ex wives (just a guess). It is the way!
When Jeremy starts one of his tired old arguments I just need to pause it for a while and do something else. Tempted not to go back to those eps at that point, tbh.
He just drags the show down every time he’s on, that’s why I don’t follow G&G anymore, I like Ryan’s takes so I just see his channel instead.

@@jlogan2228 He has a problem with admitting he's wrong. I know people who stake so much on an opinion that they see admitting wrongness as admitting they wasted their time thinking a certain way.

Having rewatched the classic Star Wars trilogy recently I need to put to bed the claim about the Bothans being missing from Rogue One. Mon Mothma delivered the line "many bothans died to bring us this information" right after saying "we have learned, the Emperor himself, will be aboard the station." These were in Return of the Jedi, not A New Hope, the bothans recovered the plans for the Second Death Star, not the first.

In my heart it stopped after Infinity war. When Thanos snapped and the heroes vanished.
They wrote themselves into an inescapable corner. They still haven't escaped that corner. They actually want to stay in their corner, they think it's a good spot, but these box office bomb movies and underperforming TV shows finna show them that corner is not a good place to be.

I need a discussion by Gary or any of the panel of what the MCU should have done after Endgame. If Feige approached and asked you to lay out the next phase or two what movies/shows would you have planned?
This episode was a complete mess.

1:36:50 So does Jeremy not know there is an example of One Piece weekly model with both the manga and anime🤔
I feel like the show is just falling into the non stop pitfall of whining about what's bad in mcu.
There's a lot to dislike about the current MCU but you aren't building an atmosphere where conversation can happen, and more or less an echo chamber about who's right
Joss Whedon is not perfect but he wrote Serenity so I will ALWAYS be a fan.
He did… Whedon was also a Comic Book Reader. My one area criticism for him….. Joss was Girl Heavy. Kitty Pride and others were an obsession for him.

And AZ, good lord. All he has become now is a shouting meme. Tell him to keep that shit on his HeelvsBabyface channel and leave it there when he's on Nerdrotic time. Same with Shad, tell him to stop shouting, too. You say you read the comment sections on your videos. I read them too, and I'm starting to see a lot of these type of comments show up now. The show is a production of Nerdrotic and Geeks+Gamers(which Jeremy is the creator of). Jeremy leaves when he wants to. Odin could be replaced much easier.
Jeremy just needs to take the stick out of his ass, Odin agreed may as well not be there. I like AZ but I agree he's at his best when he's just making pointed arguments or discussion and the shouting is kept to only emphasize major annoyances or silliness
Shad I want to like but my God he just is annoying AF bc he's trying way too damn hard to be in the spotlight and bring attention to himself.

I don't mind when someone is there arguing, it helps with the echo chamber but this episode Jeremy was being a bit personal. But yea, any time someone is on that just sits there for 1-3h and doesn't say anything it's a waste. There are a small few that are almost always like that and it makes me think they are there for exposure and not to really participate. I'm not sure why they do that.
