@@chocolate_maned_wolf I love the lion knights castle in its original form, but this is like magic how does he take such a simple concept, then making it complex and makes it work so well no matter what the configuration of the castle😭😭
Engineering applied to a castle makes for a sick set. The best part is the figures make up most of the value of the set so if you just want a second castle you can get it for like $200

Whoa! this is one of the coolest castle moc Ideas ever... though some configurations may be more useful this is just amazing, and well thought out to every detail... It looks like a design team took months to make this. inspiring masterpiece!

For me, it was extremely important that the model should present a coherent overall picture, even apart from the secret folding invention. @@balancedbricks No, thank you for creating this and sharing! its really inspiring and I hope you do not mind that I try this for a moc I have planned and gathering some pieces for, a big bat knight island gothic palace. Having so many varying tall and low towers and small courtyards would be perfect for what I wanted to do. Some parts will be island where they will have some aged fruit trees.... they are FRUIIT bats... vegetarians... pacifist that hide with a scary facade!

OMG, this is seriously making me regret not picking up 10305 during last year's Black Friday sale. And I'm too late to vote for it in the BDP 😭😭😭

Awesome castle! I just finished building it, and I love it. Your set inspired me to finally buy your instructions from Rebrickable and give it a go. My mini review: I was amazed the set was so vast, and yet left me with left over parts. I had trouble finishing the last building because I didn't seem to have the necessary parts, though I suspect that may be because I misused some parts during the beginning stages. I am impressed that the set did not require any extra parts though! If I had some extra parts, I'd like to have switched them in here and there to make some parts of the floors or bases stronger. My only complaint is...I now have to order 16 x 16 plates to make your awesome castle even better!

Danke für deine Rückmeldung! Ich verstehe, dass der Preis hoch erscheint. Wenn man es mit dem Preis für ein neues Lego Set vergleicht, ist es wiederum kosteneffektiv. Mit dem Aufwand vergleiche ich es lieber gar nicht erst 😅

No, the hinges are already included in 10305 😊
Does this use all the pieces from the original set or will there be some left over?
It uses 4000 pieces. That's almost 90% of the set's parts 😊

Sind die beiden 16x16 Platten im Set enthalten?
Die zwei optionalen Platten sind nicht enthalten. Es geht aber zum Beispiel auch eine 16x32 Grundplatte.
Did you make a throne room with this alt build?

There's a dining table for the ruler of the castle. A separate throne is not included.
