I love to build in a game called Bloxburg and would like to have the blue print for this castle to see if I can replicate it in the game. Is there any blue print?
i need a check about the dragon. It is a mega construct , i am sure. and in fact the camera never focus on it. Seen today at my retailer store. Wonderful dragon, but not a lego one
The most impressive thing about this build is the logic and rationale behind the construction, the interior spaces actually relate. They're _accessible_ from _inside_ ; the rooms have doors that visibly connect to other rooms, the hallways visibly connect spaces together, the stairwells visibly link floors together, it isn't just disjointed eye-candy to view from outside. And it's fitted with fully integrated LED lighting and was finished in just two years. My mind is blown.
that was always my focus when bulding stuff, not just make a castle, make it actually make sense, if there's a tower, there need to be stairs or a ladder somewhere, stuff like that always excited me and made me more immersed
Instead of Ant Man you could be LEGO Man. I wonder, do they have a form of plastic surgery where you just go to the store and pick a new head altogether?
This truly sets a new standard. I've been gathering sets for a large castle town MOC and this gives so many ideas even in the first 4 minutes. His hinged walls are better than taking off top levels for modular builds.
1 The castle is fantastic. 2 The interiors are amazing. 3 The hidden access walls are incredible. 4 The Easter Eggs. That’s only 4 of 50 reasons I love this.🤠
5 rounded corners and ingenious use of angles to make authentic architecture 6 walls made out of flat pieces 7 interior lighting!!!!! 8 some how surprisingly sturdy.
This is by far the most architecturally aesthetic, detailed, realistic, majestic LEGO castle MOC that I have ever seen... kudos to the builder for building this masterpiece!
Arguably the most intricate and full bodied detailed Lego build I’ve ever seen. This is imagination and skill at its finest. LEGO please give this man a job as a set designer
I love the swinging and removable walls to expose each room. I wish LEGO would incorporate something similar to this into sets instead of having so many builds with one side open
Some sets do have a little connect piece that allows you to close and then open a build. It’s not as cool and immersive as this man’s wall design. But there are playable sets that do open up, but in a different way. I think some Harry Potter sets particularly do this
@@gospelfreak5828 that is correct and it is a feature that goes all the way back to the beginning of the Official Lego Castles sets. As you said it's not as cool as this but it's better than nothing.
50 feet above: a dragon rains fire upon the helpless tower guard 50 feet below: the final wailings of tortured souls find no sympathy as they echo off the stony walls Dining Hall: "can you pass the butter please?" Inner Keep: "I am your father."
Quite possibly the best lego castle I've ever seen. So much detail and functionality crammed into every surface! Its incredibly well detailed without being too visually noisy. I especially love the look of the wooden battlements atop the stone walls. It has this really sturdy look to it. And the cobble stone pattern made up of all those different shapes and colors is so pleasing to the eye.
I was one of the exhibitors at that show and I have to say, the video doesn't do it justice by half, literally every room was a full interior with so much detail. You could do 20 laps and still see something new and amazing each time! Also didn't take as long as you'd think to pack it up either. : P
That's what I always wonder about these huge displays; how much time does it take to tear it down, pack it up at home, unpack it at a convention, and set it up? I've built some pretty substantial structures, but I've never wanted to even try to move any of them. This guy is on a whole other level.
This has to be the most amazing lego build ever. So much to see and the detail is phenomenal. I love how bits open to reveal the inside. My favourite bit was the wizards room.......oh who am I kidding I loved it all. An absolute work of art, who as a 56 year old grandmother found it conjuring up fantastical stories in my head. An absolute thing of beauty.
This MOC truly sets a new standard for castle builds in terms of historical accuracy, greebling of walls, and architectural consistency between castle, gatehouses, and town. The way the walls open up for the interiors is amazing. I'd wanted to integrate that technique and mix it with modular where levels come off, but honestly, it's better to have the hinges because then you don't have top floors of buildings lying everywhere and don't have to take the model apart to detail and play inside.
The overall design and details are incredible. I've seen a lot of great and creative castle builds on this channel, but this is definitely the best. Amazing job!
Easily one of the best castle mocs ever. To keep EVERYTHING with internal details and still have a castle this big... This isn't anything close to what a lot of impressive mocs are this is superb
I would so utterly love to see this in the sunlight outside and you have a photo shoot done from all angles and the inner rooms with the natural light hitting and coming in through the windows, everywhere in and out. Would truly have it come to life to have genuine sun coming down on it and producing the most glorious dynamics and shadows......what an astonishing achievement. And only two years?......how is this possible!
The structural integrity of the whole thing and the consistency is just a whole other league. You can basically remove all the walls and the thing just keeps standing proudly as if it were the honey badger
This tickles all the right neurons for me! Can’t convey we’ll enough how much harder it is to plan this many functioning full interiors along with a MoC this size!
Easily the best castle MOC. Its not just that its huge. Its the way it uses so many colours in the walls, to achieve such a natural appearance of texture. And has some parts different colours from others, like in real life when they make an extention and bricks slightly don't match, or when one side weathers differently, etc. Its such an interesting build.
My jaw dropped and stayed dropped for multiple minutes, and I was gasping out loud through this entire thing. I watched to the very end of the video, which I almost never do. Marry me. This is AMAZING.
Incredible. How did you deal with the stability? Not gonna lie when you were pulling out the walls to show the interior I felt like you were playing jenga! 😄
This is exceptional, probably the best castle moc I'v seen so far. So realistic, so detailed. Only thing I don't like is the dragon, takes away from the realism, also if such a dragon would attack a castle everybody would be in panic and not having a banquet etc. This moc is so fantastic that the dragon really pisses me off haha.
21k of the tan bricks, alone? In that case, I think we're easily looking at 100k bricks... or more... for the whole thing, which is an absolute masterpiece! A contiguous interior, fully three dimensional... my inner castle-building ten year old is having a coronary! This model must be one of the finest in the world, and should be preserved for future generations, with a label underneath saying "This is how you do it"!
This is a great piece of work. Very nice and detailed. I like the exploding fire in the tower from the dragon. The texturing and color palette is very nice. The interiors look great and the fact he had stairways everywhere is wonderful. All the scenes with the minifigs are amazing. Overall just a wonderful build.
tl:dr Please release more footage of this build. I'm always all up in your "with full interior" videos but this in the top 3 no question. What an astounding level of detail and built in access to see said details. Just wow
All I can think of is how long this took and trying to reorganize these pieces when you take it apart lol. but WOW this is amazing. so much planning into the removable walls. love the interiors so much
The beauty and amount of detail is just insane 😍...from the walls, over the interior,s the lighting, the accessibility, up to the roofs...favourite is actually how the walking paths are winding up and down through the levels 👌👌..btw. how many minifigs are in this epic castle ??? I´m blown away....
This is INSANE!! Awesome to see such an incredibly detailed castle build and it's Australian to boot! Hopefully it makes its way to Melbourne one day soon ❤️
2:09 Mate, make sure those miners are careful where they're digging. They could weaken the foundations of a structure or even the pathways and someone could get hurt. They look like a darn sapper crew attacking the castle fortifications.
I always liked castle sets because they put so much detail in the design of the rooms and interior. The space sets were mostly empty, and the city ones basic

Honoured to be the one who filmed this video. 🙌🏼🏰
Thanks for bringing this to us! Did the builder ever mention how he planned his build and what it all cost?
I can only imagine what this must have looked like in person. The camera can only do so much.
