Actually no need to avoid the "unknown realm" creation.
You still can add certain realm traits, such as umbral abyss.
You even can *exclude* realm traits you don't like!
Wonderful addition and I use it all the time (well... for two games so far, as ER is so new ... ;) )
I only wish it would be possible to save certain combinations (or the game would remember the last pick).

Yeah, in few words, the DEVS just took Syrons from Aow2 and the Insectoids from Planetfall and also took inspiration about the Umbral Abyss layer from Aow2 Shadow Plane and Shadow Demons in Aow2, but i love the fact that this time you show us your faction creation, really appreciate it!!! ❤

I'm guessing you couldn't do some of those Eldritch Rite of Thralldom because you don't have the Eldritch Rite. If they are like spells you have to get them somehow.
Also, while I am sure you've recorded up to episode 4 by now, you have to repair your quarry ruins next to your capital ;)

Age of wonders 4 is a great game, but according to my personal preferrnces it needs to be improved by changing the impact of overall buffs and debuffs: fortune, marked, evasion, etc... Since I can barely feel the impact of altered statuses on units. Also, buffs and debuffs tend to act all too similar in mechanics. I hope mods will improve this aspect of the game
I bought the Premium Edition today.
If you are sweeping through your games, I found giving the ai max handicap to be a fun challenge.

It's not as bad as it sounds, you can slow things down a lot.
While I like the idea of improving games as the go on, I dislike the idea of dlc. If I bought the game, I should get the game. None of this lootbox nonsense.
There's absolutely scummy DLC practices some developers use, but DLC as a concept is fine. You bought the game, you got the game, DLC is in addition to the game.
