I can't find them in the net at the morning 😦 hope the catfish didn't eat them Btw, they are called Kuhli loach because of Heinrich Kuhl a german biologist
Awesome clown loach. If you ever have problems with lil snails in your tanks they are the perfect solution to get rid of them with out having to salt your tanks.
You need return to that canal. Those clown loaches are 2 months old at best That means there are breeders and clown loaches school so likely many many more clown loaches to be caught from that canal
First up kudos to the camera operator they do a good job and are hopefully being payed in some way. As for the spotted fish that is a pretty rare find. Its a Leopard Bush Fish otherwise known as a Spotted Leaf Fish (Ctenopoma Acutirostre). Provided it's quarantined and fully disease free it would make a rare addition to the Discus tank. As for the Gourami don't quote me but I think they are Moonlight Gourami. Good idea setting up a quarantine tank. Make sure you medicate against all possible diseases and give the fish about 4 weeks before adding them to the discus tank. It would be a crying shame if anything happened to those amazing discus. Happy fishing Rob.
I agree with this comment. Keep up the great job and Camera girl, you Rock! As a woman myself and a person who hung out and had everything in common with a certain guy back in the 80s, I wish you the best. FYI.... that guy and I just had our 35th wedding anniversary and still do everything together. We are best friends ❤️ still after all these years.
Really nice that you both went out to catch fish on such an inclement day. So cool seeing all the variety of fish that you catch and the really cool unknown fish to. But the best part of this group of people is that they are wicked smart and usually know the answer of, "what kind of fish is this?" Thank for all you do. Aces to your deuces.
Hi 'Rob, The blotchy banded fish you catch near the beginning is Leopard Ctenopoma - Bush fish (Ctenopoma acutirostre). The "Eel" fish are Kuhli loach. The Bush fish is the star, I love them. The Quarantine tank is a great idea. You should have a "keepers" tank where you hold fish that you would like to keep in the short term. You find some very nice stuff and always pass them on. I get the impression you are quite a cichlid fan but currently have no tank space for them. It would be great to see you keep some of the nicer cichlids. Do keep up the traps, they always provide the best finds, ok, I'm contradicting myself here, the best fish was from a net but you know what I mean, You trap some excellent stuff. Maybe run several traps for a shorter period rather than one for a very long time.
Fire ants can swim and tread water. It’s very common for them to join together into a living raft in a mass of fire ants. They were likely on top of the water where you dipped your net into the water.
The clown loaches are cute! Those angel fish are incredibly beautiful --so glad you rescued them! The scaped tank looks really good and so do the discuses!
The way u net is causing them to break.. u should grip one as low as possible so that there is some support and wont bend the rod causing lot of stress near the end of the net 😅
I can’t believe the fish just jumped out like that 12:28 Great to see you guys out there, even with the bad weather. Love the videos, take care of yourselves.
Florida has so many not just tropical fish, but various exotic animals that have escaped or dumped by the owners and established population there. Some even became invasive species.
The snake looking fish, they ate called kuhli loach they do better in a group of 6 or more, they are nocturnal, super peaceful fish I have them in my planted Discus tank.
Hey Rob, I haven't watched this whole vid yet but had to plug in and say what ever that Jaguar like fish is he's starving . It's a great find whatever it's story. A real keeper for sure.
Great catches today! Happy to see your hair up in the bun, it looks so much better that way! So sad about the turtle, but those things happen from time to time. Maybe try a 12hr trap and see if that works better. Keep up the awesome content! Deuces!❤
Leopard bush fish, yeah that's just one of many names for that fish. That is as awsome as it gets I think. A real predator, dos not grow to big. Realy cool fish.
You look so fit with your hair pulled back like that. I bet it feels better being pulled back, out of your face, and off your neck. Watcha lifting these days? You look super ripped! Awesome catches. I love Clown Loaches. Right now in my 38 all I have is a Zebra Botia, a mating pair of emerald cory cats, a rainbow red tailed shark, a couple silverside minnows, a couple crayfish, and some mosquito fish. Eventually though...they are going into a bigger tank, and Im gonna remake my tiger loach and tetra tank🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤
RIP lil turtle😔🐢 Good going on the quarantine tank 👍 That Raphael is a perfect example of the fish you should be selling on. Its nice that you give a lot away but youre doing the work you may as well reap the rewards. PLEASE give your friend his own episode when he next does some scaping. It'd be good to hear some scaping talk on the channel Nice to see the hyacynth tank and the tank graveyard too, amazed that one filled with rainwater isnt cracked on the botttom Closing in on 50k 👏👏👏
In your lead, that was a giant kuhli loach, Pangio myersi. Normally in the fish stores are pangio semicincta. No hints for the wind noise, when it gets that bad, you need a 'dead cat' on a mic. Good job on editing the wind out with the filters. Amazing!!! Clown loaches breeding in FL. They get HUGE, up to 10".
The long striped black and orange fish was a Khuli Loach. :)
🧡🖤🧡🤎🧡💛🤎🩶🤎🧡🤎I love their colors
I can't find them in the net at the morning 😦 hope the catfish didn't eat them
Btw, they are called Kuhli loach because of Heinrich Kuhl a german biologist

HOORAY FOR THE QUARANTINE TANK!!! I’m so happy

The spotted fish is a small predatory fish called a leopard bush fish
They get kinda chonky
Spotted climbing perch, that's what they were advertised as when I brought them lol and yep about 18cm
@@danielimpett1277 they have multiple names but same fish
Also called leopard ctenapoma
It's a rather aggressive fish that can get bigger.

You can also get - Panda loaches. Look them up ;)
Kuhli Loaches are awesome to watch. Great work Rob, that bun is poppin.
Awesome so far!
Nice BUSH Rob😂 Nice Leopard Bush fish you pervs😂😂😂
Rob you need to start bring ground anchors that you can use to tie your nets to.
I'm quite amazed the variety of aquarium fish established in these slow moving or nearly stagnant canals. That' super fun.
Rob! Man bun super macho!
Keep rockin’ that !!
(But don’t cut that mop!)
i’d be taking the mollys back as feeder fish fr
I love clown loaches. One of my favorite fresh water fish.
So jelly that you can just go to a ditch and grab loaches, they're the coolest fish ever!
The clown loaches are cute! Those angel fish are incredibly beautiful --so glad you rescued them! The scaped tank looks really good and so do the discuses!
They weren’t angel fish, they were gourami
It would be awesome to see what's in the hyacinth tank. Been forever since you put anything in there. Be cool to see who has thrived.

Just started watching, but ik it's going to be a good video
There are some awesome fish there that I would love to add to one of my aquariums. I love Loaches and wouldn't mind filling one with a bunch of them.
The eel like looking fish appears to be kuhli loaches. But I might be wrong
You definitely had a touch of the butters in this one
Beautiful fish❤
Butterfingers😂
Leopard bush fish, yeah that's just one of many names for that fish. That is as awsome as it gets I think. A real predator, dos not grow to big. Realy cool fish.
The one looks like eel, is kuhli loach, originally from Java island in Indonesia. How is it there in the wild?
Amazing discus tank❤❤❤
Rob, you had some sick tanks with your old set up before you moved. I think it is cool that you are going to be using some of the tanks again.
You look so fit with your hair pulled back like that. I bet it feels better being pulled back, out of your face, and off your neck.
Watcha lifting these days? You look super ripped!

The "eel looking thing" is a Kuhli Loach, great find!
I used to have a beautiful Rafael, awesome fish. What did you do with the one you caught?
That sand will most likely wash out after a good storm but either way it'll not go to waste
Weather's been crazy from few days
You are living the dream ❤
Can someone local send Rob a swimming pool aluminium pole and net!? I'm pretty sure he can't brake it!!!😝
