You would think the shops know what they are doing but hey ho, we are keeping 3 and my sisters a very happy chappy getting more free fish from us lol!

      Oh yeah it’s a bloody nightmare isn’t it, well they are maybe a little bigger than a tiger Barb fully grown and will probably take another 3 months to get large enough to rehome so check back in with us around that time and hopefully bills will come back down soon! We are probably going to keep pulling eggs daily for a few more months so no rush we should have plenty available!! We are also starting up breeding some ruby and longfin cherry barbs so you can have a pick of a few types once things get back to normal (don’t feel like you have to take on any if barbs aren’t your thing bud lol) just know the offer is there 👌🏻👍👍

    I just bought a ornate tiger loach. Are they pretty aggressive?? I can't tell if he/she is chasing my tetras or swimming with em.

    • @Aquadiction
      @Aquadiction  Год назад

      Hmm tough one, our loaches are very playful and like to swim with other fish, esp botia! But I would class some botia as semi aggressive if their belly's aren't full. Have you noticed any of the tetras have any tails nipped? If not I think your okay, they are just super active which seems strange as they look like fish that would be chilling on rocks and substrate more than they actually do!

    • @Aquadiction
      @Aquadiction  4 месяца назад

      When mature the females are noticeably rounder/fatter than the males and slightly larger, hopefully that helps but if you have both sexes when mature you should be able to spot it fairly easy. Its pretty much the same for all botia and a lot of loaches in general! :)
