You have more them enough room. I have like 10 in a 55. Clown loaches are extremely slow grower’s. I’ve got two I’ve had for about 3 yes. They are about 5 to 6 inches long
I've got a new 1100li 8ft tank from wharf aquatics which replaces my 6ft tank. I feed a similar mix of food as you. Floating and sinking pellets, catfish oellets(jmc), and hikari wafers. 1. Please where do u get the big bags from as I tend to end up with it in zip lock clear bags from ebay... Also how often do you feed them. Someone once told me 2 or 3 times week but since I've got my new tank I've fed daily. I also have more fish than I used to.
Yeah I noticed they don't really grow for first few years then they start getting a fat belly and fill out after that and at about 5 years they begin to look big and your able to start noticing growth but yeah it's extremely slow
@@MicksFishUk yes my last one was from them about 9 years ago. For a 10ft length, 3ft wide & 2.5ft high had prices ranging from £4500 up to £8000. They have certainly gone up since I last bought one.😂
@@MicksFishUk no worries! At least from what it sounds like they should be good either way. I have semi aggressive medium/large gouramis so I am used to sticking with majority female and wasn’t sure if I need to do the same with the loaches.
Has anyone had any luck with clown loaches ridding your tank with a bazillion snails? I’ve bought 3 small clown loaches a couple months ago in my 125 gallon. Seems the snails still are winning the battle.
Hey mate they get 5 days a week and the 6th day they have there frozen treat foods and 7th day is water change day so don’t feed them on that day hope this helps 👍🏻
@@MicksFishUk I have tried feeding them so many things and the ONLY THING mine will eat is frozen blood worms. They hate wafers. And hardly ever touch the leftovers from my other fish. How do you get them to eat other things. It worries me.

Some are 10 years mate and others 7-8 years they are slow growers but so worth it
