I've never understood how, if she went from trifle to shepherd's(/cottage) pie in the recipe book, she ends up with the top layers back to trifle? You'd think it would be topped with mashed potato.
i always assumed it went repeat steps x-y, so she flipped back to the trifle recipe, but upon further thought, you don’t actually build layers in a shepard’s pie, do you, it’s kind of a one meat layer, one potato layer and done sort of deal isn’t it.
have literallly always wanted to know if it was good bc I also couldn't argue with joey's "custard good, jam good, beef goood", thank you for doing this so i didnt have to lol
