A great way for a soccer player to improve not only their game but their life in general is to have a daily morning routine in place.
In this video I go over what I believe the best morning routine for soccer players is. I give you a routine that you can easily use and also customize if you wish to add your own activities as well.
I also supply you with my daily routine so that you can get an idea of what a routine from someone who has done this for a long time looks like.
I can't stress enough how important to your development having a good, progressive morning routine is. It can literally change your life.
Here is the routine from the video. My personal one will be below it.
Best Morning Routine For Soccer Players #1: Early bird
It is important that you get up early. If you are waking up at 10,11 or 12 on most days, then something needs to change. I know it can be a pain to get out of bed, but it will only take you about 5 minutes to start being alert and ready. I recommend getting up somewhere between 7-9.
Best Morning Routine For Soccer Players #2: Morning water
During sleep, your body becomes dehydrated. So it is important to drink at least 1 glass of water as soon as you get up. Not only will this re-hydrate you, but it also has some good health benefits. It helps your body wake up and I also believe it helps increase blood flow which makes you feel more awake as well.
Best Morning Routine For Soccer Players #3: Quick stretch
It's always good to relax and loosen your muscles after they have been still all night. A nice gentle full body stretch is in order. You only need to do about 5-10 minutes of stretching, but you will feel so good afterwards. You'll also feel more relaxed and awake.
Best Morning Routine For Soccer Players #4: Breakfast
It is essential to get a good breakfast in. However, we don't want to eat too much. I generally have either eggs on toast with a banana or avocado, or oatmeal with a banana or avocado. This doesn't have to be exactly what you have, but I would make sure you are getting some carbs in. I would also avoid cereal like it's the plague. It is terrible for you.
Best Morning Routine For Soccer Players #5: Light workout
Time to get some touches on the ball. Make sure your food has settled and then head out for a light 10-15 min workout. I usually do 100 juggles alternating feet, then 25 one foot and 25 on the other. Then I will do 10 ball to wall passes and trap with the inside of my foot with both feet and then do the same with the outside of my feet. And that's it! It's a good way to get a light workout in which will wake you up, but it also helps you get touches on the ball.
Feel free to add other activities to your routine. Be careful to not add too much because you don't want to overwhelm yourself. Below is my morning routine so that you can get an idea of what a customized one looks like.

I'm 14 years old and wanting to become a professional soccer player, hopefully. I like video games but I don't spend 6 hours a day playing video games. I like soda and unhealthy snacks which I know isn't good, but I haven't really tried stopping which I do plan stopping starting tomorrow. I don't have a workout area the main/only thing I have is bench press and curling dumbbell or whatever it's called. I am dedicated to soccer I never skip/late to practice or games. I'm about 5' 7" 132 Pounds, I can run at a consistent pace and over a far distance. I only drink water while practicing. I've been playing striker position for 8 years (ever nice I started playing) i always listen to my coach and teammates. I communicate fairly good, I'm not shy, I usually will make a friend or two at a tryout knowing that I won't know anyone there. I have the personality like Messi I have the speed, my 40 yard dash is 5.97 I can easily get the ball up the field. My most goals is 8 goals in a game, averaging 1-3 goals a game, but that's not the point. What I want to know is what can I do to become better at eating healthier and beginning a new work out routine. Thanks for reading.

Hey man. If you want to go pro, or play at a high level, discipline is going to play a big part. When it comes down to your eating habits and exercise, you really have to discipline yourself. You are going to have to avoid that junk food (especially soda. Very few snacky foods that are worse for you) and eat healthy practically everyday. First thing I would do is don't even have junk food available to you. That means don't have it in your house because although right now you might not think you'll eat it, you probably will at some moment of weakness.
For exercise, it will vary. I recommend a program called athlean if you are trying to get in really good shape. Just google it and it showed up. It actually comes with a meal plan so that could solve two problems at once.

Just adjust and adapt to your schedule. Create your own routine that you can do before school that will benefit you.

Hey i was wandering if its best to go to the field and kick the ball around in the morning or afternoon?
It's going to depend on your schedule. I usually do my more serious sessions in the afternoon, but that's simply due to personal preference.
I am really wondering about all professional soccer players taking multivitamin pills or some supplementary nutrition support for their body supplement? is it necessary and good to take it for soccer players?
because I have school I don't really get time to do stretches or have a kick about because my school starts at 8:45 and I wake up at 6:30 and I need to brush my teeth have breakfast and get the bus so it's really hard for me to do these things so what can I do to make it easier for me to do a morning routine or should I just leave it until on Saturdays Sundays and holidays?
+michael adu What I would do is have a short routine you can do on school days, and then a longer one you can do on weekends and other days you don't have school. You don't have to do what I do in the video, those are just suggestions. The important thing is to develop a morning routine but everyone's will be different. Just try and include some soccer practice in the routine even if it is only juggling for 5-10 minutes or something!

How long does your morning routine take because I have been planning to do a morning routine schedule on the whole of Easter every morning for at least 30 minutes. is it ok or should I do more Minutes or Less.
+michael adu I have a particularly long one, but I'm not in school. My soccer routine probably takes 15-30 minutes, but I shorten it when I don't have time.

You don't need to be huge. For example Raheem Sterling is far from really muscular, yet he is able to fend off defenders very effectively

I’m 15 and I’m pretty talented with the ball at my feet while playing a CAM role in the field but I find my self getting tired a lot and my stamina is horrible not too bad I run a 6:55 mile but now I think it’s more of a 7:30... I got promoted to the A team on my soccer team and I need to be able to have better stamina I do try to not eat junk food but sometimes I just through my health out the window and saw what the heck my dinner is usually good home cooked meals but I need some tips to try to stop the sugar that’s my only problem stamina

It is a smashing one off product for improving your soccer skills minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 finally got amazing success with it.

It's probably fine then. Plus, you can learn juggling pretty easily if you are already a technical player.
